Oh, don't worry about surface, I don't want it even for free... some bad experiences, and I don't want it anymore, I prefer to pay USPS very gladly.

And 4 weeks... well, seems ok! but I've wait 9... and it's easier for the package to "disappear". So don't worry, I was not complaining about DF shipping ways. This is just ok for me as ok it can be. Perhaps some day we'll have a distributor. We will see. If don't, well, it's ok too.

Hi guys.

I just want to let Stefan, Jeff and all you guys know that this River and Walls set makes me really happy. This is such an awesome and innovative set. I love its versatility above all else, with its gorgeous realization close behind. The removable walls, the parts of the decor you can add/remove, this all blows my mind away.

I want to thank the guys of DF to go on making sets for us. You guys rock. And to all of us fans, a big thank too: our support pays off, really. I give you all a big virtual hug.

Cheers and keep on gaming!
Ben.

Was only hoping that i could save some bucks in the process
of using suface mail, but if your packages tend to disappear
it's not a good idea to use...

Ok, so be it i'll be in with two sets.

Will hurt my bank account, but the product is simply so
awsome that it is a must have, since i already own
2 Cavern sets and 2 Cavernous Passages plus some extras
it's the ideal add on.

Well, I didn't say that the "tend to disapear", my friend, it's just a couple of boxes have dissappeared... and I didn't give the chance for another time to happen. I have to say too, that It had not happened to me with any DF package, but with packs of MK and D&D figures from ebay.

I think it can be a good choice in some cases, but I, personally, don't want to try again.

It's only my two cents, ok? :-)

Greetings!

Well.. the same thing Beastman wrote...

I am sad... really sad, because my local reseller can no longer fix my desire...
"Just online" he told me... but I wont - because I live in Vienna, Austria.... and it sure cost a lot if I order two sets via internet...
the shipping costs will kill me...

So here is a sad little badger... cause no longer I can put my money in Dwarvenforge products
:-(

I am a really sad badger... *sniff*

I haven't looked into international shipping at all, however, at someone's suggestion from the DF web site (forgive me you as I forget who you are), I just purchased two sets of minis from Lord_Cliff in Australia. The choices of shipping included 3-7 day for $16 US, 1-3 weeks for $14 US, and 1-3 months for $11 US. They went with EconoAir, the middle choice.
What I'm getting at is this: I know DF said they couldn't go with other shipping options, but surely other options do exist. Have someone here in the US research those options for you. If you find a good, low-cost shipping option...and if you can trust someone here, pay someone here via Paypal for the items, the cost of the DF shipping to ship it to the US location, and the cost of the shipping to get it to you in Austria. The person here can buy the items from DF and ship them to you.

Just a thought. I'm very tired and it's 2.5 hours past my 9AM bed time, but as long as we can work something out and you feel you can me and vice versa, I'd even offer to do this for you. I'd have to research shipping options though as I have little overseas shipping experience.

Hi Folks,
here is a titbit of information which might be of interest to you Austrian and German Fans - there still are shops were you could order DF products in your country
Austria:
www.planetharry.at/spiele/mastermaze.htm

Germany:
www.clesus.de/index.php?action=shop&hptid=1&untid=50

www.fanen.com/miniaturen_tabletops/s--1_674_-1_-1/katalog/1890528011/master-maze-gelaende-zubehoer.html

and some few pieces are still left at
www.dragonworld.de/catalog/default.php?manufacturers_id=246

the list does not constitute any preference for any shop.
so folks stop moaning and if these shops don't satisfy start searching like I did,Google is your friend.

But a friend of mine travels to good ol US of A and maybe she can get some Cavern Rivers and bring them over here :-D
Thanks for your offer - I think we gaming geeks have to hold together somehow... ;-)

And to viscomteandreas... Harry from Planetharry is one of my best friends and was my Dwarvenforgedealer... until now.. because he no longer offers that service... sadly enough... :-(

hy guys sorry to jump in but i fellt i had to mention that - i bought a big bunch of cavern pieces (my first) via ebay from planet harry - very good deal thanks a lot!!!! - and one of the 4-way pieces had candel wax on it.
was that from one of your gaming sessions?

anyway big hello and thanks again to harry if you see him and tell him those beauties have been treated well in their new home (no candlewax torture...)

i do not know if that would help but i order my rivers with green_night and a friend (six boxes) maybe we could include you? it should not be that difficult to get the stuff to vienna from here...?

Thanks for the links. I only searched for 5 minutes but I also came up with one of the two German sites. I wish the US dollar were better than it is compared to the Euro and I wish the shipping to get it back here were low (I haven't checked yet so cannot complain)...I'd really like to order some of the current OOP and possibbly "never again" items, like the narrow shorts, that are still in stock at some of these places.

Oh...the only thing with some sites is that I some of the sites don't have proper quantities. One of them let me add 999 of each item to my cart. I *KNOW* there's no way they have that much DF stuff in stock. Right?

No problem, Badgermayham. Just trying to be helpful. I'm glad to see others are too. This site has such wonderful people on it.

Hey Dragon.. sure I will tell him , no prob... and you are right - he is a genuinly (is that a even a word?) nice guy...
About the candlewax... At Harry´s Con ( www.fantasygamecon.at/ ) he hosts every year, he made a really big Master Mace Dungeon for folks to play in....
His Con is not a big one, but its lot of fun (with "Starguests like John Kovalic ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Kovalic ))"and he promoted the Master Maze really good... he even let it rebuild in his shop and made some evenings with friends, mastering a really funny session. He turned out all light and positioned candles around and in the Master Maze... it really looked spooky and added to the fun...

well - I right now consider if I sell my stuff, because of the difficulties to order new stuff....
A shame I know - but I am such a lazy person, and everything that is too difficult to obtain I try to cut out of my live (I have difficulties enough at my job, so I try to keep them out of my hobbies) ;-)

Well ... we will see
