Why have the boards been so slow recently? 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
The last 4 or 5 months the boards have been really slow. What is up with that?

I've noticed that too. I have been very busy trying to wrap up my graduate work. Also, I can't afford any sets right now (even though I want several).

I have a game coming up soon. I will probably post some pictures.

I'm working on a few big builds, but my budget is making it so I'm doing it slowly.

Currently designing modular elven city,modular sewers, dwarven ruins, custom cavern elements, ice caverns, and towers.

I would love to see the following sets in the future...
Ice caverns expansion set 2
Hellscape expansion set 2 (lava lake, rivers, lava falls)

Last summer the boards were quite busy though, that is why I was wondering what was going on.

I suppose as long as DF's sales have not slowed down as well, then all is good.

Work and family mainly take up time also we are currently in the process of moving house so not had a lot of spare time recently.

Yes, it seems very slow the recent weeks. I hope that changes when the Catacomb set arrives and we get to see a lot of new setups. :)

For myself, I must confess it is Facebook. I do not use it for personal social networking but have created a persona for gaming, minis, etc. (you can find me as Dwarven Ale if you care to). I have been taking pics with my iphone which is then very easy to post on FB. So, sheer laziness of actually sitting at the computer and resizing the pics to put on the DF boards has kept me from doing much.
;(

I will get some pics up over the weekend.
