Good prices on WInsor & Newton Series 7 brushes 2 Years, 9 Months ago  
Over at Dickblick.com. I just bought 000,00,0,1, and 2. I love GW primer but the three GW brushes I bought are losing hairs constantly. I think they are defective.

I only have the size 1 - but so far it is by far the best brush I ever bought. I never thought it really makes a big difference. But this brush still forms a good tip after many figures painted while all other ones start fine but don't last. Even if I try to take good care for them.

Good brushes make a huge difference but even the good ones wear out fast with lots of use.

I hope the end of your brushes are sharp! That's the most common problem with buying brushes online. You can never inspect them beforehand to make sure they are straight and sharp... Also, make sure not to buy brushes too small! I just bought 2 brushes today (4 & 6) and they are great! It is better to have a brush that can hold a lot of paint while being able to make minute details with a very sharp end.
