Stefan, if you guys ever want to do something like this for DF, I think we'd buy it. (notice the fully furnished rooms, too!)

And you know, it seems to fit in with the Lego Indiana Jones as well. Way cool!

Wow... that is SO cool. But man--"1,601 pieces"!!! That would drive me absolutely crazy with a 5 year-old boy! He can't keep track of his toys now. Dad has type 3 ADD, OCD and Rainman syndrome (I'd obsess over making sure ALL of the parts where always there and since I also have a photographic memory--I can tell you how many pieces are there and how many and which ones are missing...) so whenever a piece would go missing, I'd know exactly what it is, what it looked like, and would go ballistic till it was found! (can you tell I had a little brother who used to destroy and/or lose most of my toys?)

Drives my wife nuts! ha ha...

You guys remember growing up with the cheapy plastic knight figures and an aluminum "castle" that was actually a briefcase that the knights could be stored in--err ehm, "live" in? I sure don't remember any medieval play sets as cool as this one when I was a kid (just turned 41 for reference).

I'm impressed. That's an awful lot of pieces for the cat to hide...

My girlfriend wants this. It 'IS' pretty darn snazzy. Thanks for the post L! I wonder how close that big turkey is to 25mm scale?

Man... my 5 year old was asking for a castle for this past Christmas. Little did he know that I had actually bought the huge Playmobil castle--before the kid was even born--for him. We spent 3 hours putting that thing together day after Christmas. I can just imagine how long this would take!

He LOVES Lego too, so I can't let him see this otherwise I'm going to be making another purchase for his upcoming birthday! ;-}~

I LOVE the look on the blacksmith's face! That's hilarious.

I picked this thing up and put it together yesterday -- it's outrageously cool. :)

I'll put some in Cool Photos, though I suppose they might be off-topic for a DF forum. Still, maybe there's enough cross-genre interest to warrant it...

Well, NOW I understand why this is posted in two different places. And YES it's worth it, at leat, I think so.
Since the pics are still there, I'd say "DF Management" agrees! - All 4 of them (Stefan, Jeff, Dave, and Lori - did Mari ever get dragged into working with the company? If so, all 5 of them!)
