BOOT???

This conversation is really starting to grate on me.
In fact, it totally rubs me the wrong way.
It runs slivers - er, shivers - up my spine!
It's really cheesed me off!

Other than that, everything's okay.
In fact, it's just grate.

See ya!

I am bringing this thread back to life because it seems like a lot of folks are again not including their location in their profile when they sign up.

Could all of you who have not done so please do so?
You do not have to give your exact location; even just a region or state/province/nation would be useful.
I know I am not the moderator or anyone employed by Dwarven Forge; I just ask this as a member of the DF Forum.
In the past it has led to more understanding of what folks are trying to say.

The best thing about this function is that you may find a fellow Master Maze enthusiast living just a few miles from you and you can then go have a real foot stomping of a game!
Additionaly, other folks may have lived in the area before and may know who to have a real great time gaming with and about that other sort of gamer in the area as well.
Furthermore, as I wrote above, it can also makes what one says here a little more understandable because what you may have to say will make more sense knowing where you are coming from because of where you are from.

 By the way, to those who know who they are, how are we going on the invasion?
Reports have become sketchy from the front lines! :P

Is she any relation to Donna Mills? What about Heather Mills?
I had a HUGE crush on Hayley Mills when I was 12.

Bet it does hurt, if you hid them where I THINK you did. If so, you can keep 'em.

See ya!

Now, on a more serious note, could all of you that have not registered your locale please do so?
It really does make what you have to post, make more sense and gives it more juice.

How so?

Beyond nationality (or within large and/or diverse nations, region), I don't think revealing one's location sheds any further light on one's posts, other than allowing us to account for language differences. Each person reading the post would have to be familiar with the poster's (sub)culture (not a given, and often just a source of assumptions and further misunderstandings) for the poster's location to foster better understanding.

Even then, you wouldn't necessarily get that much insight, as every person is an individual with a unique background, personality, and preferences -- I am certainly not typical of people in my area, including many gamers.
