Let's see, location. Lost in the ozone! Been gone for awhile, thought I would check in as I just preordered the river set. What's new?

Ok, there's my avatar!

I am sure I was not the only one wondering where you had strayed to.
It has been over a year since you posted last, right?
So what did you do on "Summer Vacation" then?
Nice to have you back.

New avatar looks good too.

HA RabidFox... your plan is working!

Upon your command, I will send out the ninjas to collect everyone's salt-shakers... then our plan of world domination begins!!!

MWUHAHAHA

(please remember you promised me Barbados)

No, no, no!
It was supposed to be pepper mills, you lunk!
And no, I promised you Tortuga.
Give you one of the Dutch Antilles?
No, no! :D

Oh, pepper mills... sorry, I forgot.

*reviews orders*

Tortuga is fine, I always liked that name. Dutch Antilles are cool too. I can wear one of them Dutch-Booy hats and some knickers!

Good carnivore!
Tortuga is a fine place - I am sure you will enjoy it - plenty of rum and women to only name a couple of its attractions for you.
Make sure your ninjas do not miss a single pepper mill or pot on our way to world domination.

JK,
What exactly were the forces you were promising to get all of the cheese graters with?
BTW, Arstein was to be the one to seize all of the salt cellars, including all of the Cellini ones.

I've been doing something very strange I know for me, actually working! Since July 5th I've been working help desk at Lackland AFB. It has been keeping me off the streets and the board. Also been hanging out at a bbq board and learning how to smoke meat.
Of late the wife and I have been looking to open a game store. Now just to find the money. Looking for investors.

Cheese graters?
Oh My GOD, I Forgot the CHEESE GRATERS!!!!!
We're DOOMED!!!!!

brvheart -

Lackland? Helping USAF get the little kiddies off to a good start, or keeping the Security Police School straightened out? Or keeping the Crypto School de-crypted?
When I went through Lackland, it was Basic, and they had Security Police and Cryppie schools there as well. I don't remember any other schools. Of course that was 35 1/2 years ago, so who knows what goes on there now; I certainly don't!

By the way: the hard part about smoking meat is keeping it lit in the bowl.

BOOT???

This conversation is really starting to grate on me.
In fact, it totally rubs me the wrong way.
It runs slivers - er, shivers - up my spine!
It's really cheesed me off!

Other than that, everything's okay.
In fact, it's just grate.

See ya!

Myrthe -

I was in Springfield from April to October 1974; my ex is from there. Nice country, out IN the country.
Do you get down to Windsor Locks often? the NEAM is there, and they have a fairly nice collection, including one of the few B-29s still in one piece. Of course, it doesn't fly, only the CAF's FIFI does that. And she doesn't fly very often, because of fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs.

See ya! (In Indy?)

Jim

Hi Jim -

Yes, Ive been to the NEAM (New England Air Museum for those who don't know) but not in quite a few years. I'm going to try to get to the "Open Cockpit Day" this summer. Also, in Danbury, CT, there is a Military Armor Museum that has an "Open Turret Day" that I've been to. Now, I'm not a huge guy (5'11" - 180#), nor am I claustrophobic, but those tanks and APC's are TIGHT !! Cheers to the troops that are confined to those metal match boxes !!

Another favorite site of mine is the Dinosaur State Park in Wethersfield/ Rocky Hill. Not a huge place, but a great place for picnics and track castings.

- Mike (still trying to arrange a trip to GenCon)

Mike -

I hope you can make it to GenCon. Sandy and I will be there Friday evening sometime, we're driving from Baltimore. We'll be there all day Saturday, and boogie out sometime Sunday, in time to make a room reservation in Dayton. Monday AM it's off to Wright-Pat and the USAF Museum, with camera in hand!

See ya!

Fu-Man -

I haven't been there since '72; I visited there on the way to Ft. Benjamin Harrison, in Indy, for Defense Information School. Since then, the school has moved to Ft. Meade, Ft. Harrison is CLOSED and the land sold to Indianapolis, and the Museum has expanded to 3 buildings plus a new Missile Hall, and a 4th building is proposed, in planning, and desperately needed! And that doesn't include reconstruction/refurbishing/rebuilding hangars!
I have 3 64MB Memory Sticks for my camera and 3 batteries; I once filled ONE stick at Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles, with 177 pictures. I plan to fill ALL of them this time!
See, when I'm not terrorizing gamers, I build Cold War era us and USSR birds, in 1/72 and 1/48 scale.

See ya!

We don't get many calls from the security policy and Crypto is above my security clearance. I mostly support the Services flight of the 344th, but we support the entire 37th TRG. I'm afraid it will be at least another year before I can make Indy again:(
