Hi has anyone tried C&C yet? If so how did it feel? I DO like the idea of solid archetypes and no AoO's. Also the idea of no skill sets are kinda neat. It seems like it is pretty narrow in customization of a character. But I believe it suits me a lot more than 3ed.

Chapters-Indigo has a sale on the PHB right now for $20CDNea. so I got two. Just wondering if it is something I should be looking forward to.

I had a chance to play C&C with Rob Kuntz and Gary Gygax last summer, as well as some of the guys from Troll Lord Games. It was a blast. As a 1e aficianado, I can tell you straight up the game is as simple and clean as you want it to be. If you like the archetype, you will LOVE C&C!

Not that I will most likely purchase this game, but what is "C&C"?
To me that means "Command & Conquer" the SF computer game.
I have never heard of Gygax being associated with anything SF so that raises my confusion.
So, what is it?

Thank you for the simple response, but it does not answer the question.
I ask for what IS C&C, not just what the "C&C" meant.
Is it a RPG, a wargame or both.
What is its setting?
And so on.
I am curious.

I am sorry you did not completely understand my question.
I will try to do better next time.

That's a relief. It's a shame it won't apply to the whole forum!

Since no one seems to want to answer your question, here goes. Castles and Crusades is a new RPG system by Troll Lord games. Sort of a d20 and AD&D 1E combined so to speak. Here is a link to the site for more info:

Now that was definitely A-1 hospitality brvheart!
Whether that is Texan or MidWestern in flavor, I do not care.
Thank you!

Glad to be of help:) I am not involved with it any more. My group looked at it early and decided they were not interested, but I am glad to pass on any info I have.
