For once, being ridiculously picky works to my advantage. There's only one set that I really like, so the only real temptation is to pick up a second set of the same.

I will say one of the selling points is most of the coins don't have numbers to specify value, which some people (myself included) don't want in fantasy coins.

These coins are by far the best I've seen and want to pledge for the 15 sets but am I reading it right? I saw a question posted asking about the 15 set pledge level and someone answered saying you actually get 3-coins from each of the 15-sets, for a total of 45 coins!!!?????

Does anyone know for sure?

here is the $15 level

Pledge $15 or more

Diamond: Get (1) set of 30 coins (10 Copper, 10 Silver, and 10 Gold) with unlimited add-ons from our menu. Shipping will be calculated later via our pledge manager.

So for $15 you get 1 set of 30 coins (10 each of gold, silver, copper) I have not seen any thing that give you 45 coins for $15, but I could be mistaken

EDIT: the one of everything set for $15 will be an add on set, so you still need the minimum set pledge of $15, plus the $15 for the add on: total cost $30 for 75 coins or 40 cents per coin. this was in the comment section.

The 15 set level (Platinum) gives you 15 sets of 30, for 450 coins.

The question you saw probably was referring to the $15 "one of everything" set.

Three sets of coins, or an additional set of DF water tiles???

screw the coins! ;)

Actually i am in for one set and may add a few, but if Stefan keeps busting out the awesome i may stick with just one set. I can't imagine using coins at the table (way tooo much to keep track of) but i intend to hand them out as reroll tokens for random GM rewards.

Fantasy coins seem to be another one of those things that's becoming popular like the game mats... here are four companies I could find on KS who are all producing fantasy game coins:

Fantasy Coins for Board Games, RPGs, LARP, or any occasion by Fantasy Coin, LLC
www.kickstarter.com/projects/fantasycoinhq/fantasy-coins-for-board-games-rpgs-larp-or-any-occ

Dragon Fantasy Coins by NOWish Games
www.kickstarter.com/projects/nowish/dragon-fantasy-coins

Metal Dragon Coins by Minion Games
www.kickstarter.com/projects/miniongames/metal-dragon-coins

Rare Elements - Elemental Fantasy Currency Set by Osborne Coinage
www.kickstarter.com/projects/654503844/rare-elements-elemental-fantasy-currency-set-relau

The fascinating thing is they are all producing coins that are so different there's surely something for everyone's tastes.

Myself, I came across the Rare Elements coins and was absolutely floored by the artwork. They are truly works of art and professionally minted by a company that's been in the business for 178 years!

Kitenerd, I feel the same way about Stefan's awesomeness! I've gone from $455 pledge to over $1500 and still want to spend more on the elevation add on when it gets released...oh, and let's not forget the sewer pack when it gets released.

I'll still get at least 15 coin sets as they are, IMHO, the best designed coins that have been posted on KS.

Off topic, but what game mats are you referring to? Things like Zuzzy mats, or something else?
