TOPIC: Price for CoS painted?

Price for CoS painted? 9 Months ago
I bought some extra painted CoS and I was thinking about selling a couple of them to get extra money for the upcoming Kickstarter. I was wondering what you guys thought I should ask for them. I would rather sell or trade on here than pay Ebay fees, but I don't want to give them away either.

You are actually asking us -- your potential/preferred customer base -- what we -- your potential/preferred customer base -- think you should charge us -- your potential/preferred customer base -- for painted CoS sets, while asking us -- your potential/preferred customer base -- not to low-ball you on the DF products you would be selling us -- your potential/preferred customer base.

Take what I say with a grain of salt as I am one of the potential/preferred customer base jack refers to, but I would personally start with the website price for a painted addon. Next I would add a premium on top of that price since it is a limited run. The premium can't really be drawn from any specific source, so go with your gut. If you want to try to move them quickly fire away with the lowest you will be comfortable with. If you are okay with taking some time, ask for just a pinch over what feels right (people like the option of room to haggle sometimes). That is roughly how I would do it. Feel free to use that, ignore it, or for kicks you can point and laugh... (though that last one would make you look a little odd if you aren't alone).

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

Thanks for the input everyone. Jack, I think you make a great point! Maybe I should rethink my strategy, but I trust most people in this community to be fair.

$120 and shipping costs.

Sorry, I based the $90 on a wrong assumption that the CoS was equivalent to an add-on. It's more like a full basic set of GameTiles, but lots redder.

So round $85 to $90, add a third for it being a KS exclusive, and always charge shipping to the buyer.
