So again I ask because I'm excited, when is your KS? I want my...."precccioussSSss!" "entrances"

I'm hoping your KS won't be near MBA's Castle KS starting in 30 days, because my budget will have to choose one of your fund raisers *biting finger nails!*

I don't own any MBA products. Looking at the castle from the link below I'm singularly unimpressed with the MBA pictures for their upcoming Castle KS. www.miniaturebuildingauthority.com/castlekickstarter.asp

That looks like one of the most boring castles I have ever seen. I just have zero excitement for it. I showed it to my wife and she thought the same thing.

I recently bought into some Mage Knight Castle pieces and those are more my style.

Monkplayer,

Barring unforeseen delays, my KS will be going live in a little over a week. I hope you can join in!

HeroQuestFrance,

As Biowizard kindly pointed out, I will indeed be selling these, initially via a Kickstarter campaign starting very soon. (See above!)

Thanks everyone for the support and enthusiasm! This is going to be great!

GriffinTamer,
The "early bird" gets the choice of the biggest worm I always say. I will be a very early supporter of your painted entrances.

You have done a terrible work.
We wait for years to get special entrance in resin for each product line (cavern, ROTA, DOE, dungeon, sci fi etc) and you've realized the dream of many there !

Sad you don't sell it ...

sorry I read this and all I could was think of the movie " Better off Dead"

Monique Junot: I figured if we had nothing to say to each other he would get bored; go away. But instead he uses it as an excuse to put his testicles all over me.

Lane Myer: Excuse me?

Monique Junot: You know, like octopus? Testicles?

Lane Myer: Ohhhh. Tentacles. N-T. Tentacles; big Difference.

@Griffintamer - Will there be any early backer rewards like early bird pricing, first X backers get a promo, etc?

They look really nice, but unfortunately I am kickstarted out at present with too many unfulfilled kickstarters especially to back one that is not an established company. I wish you the best of luck though!

1) MBA is more about historical than fantastic.
1a) My plan is to use some fantastic Warhammer bits to embellish the MBA pieces. I think that might be within my capabilities, meager though they may be.

2) MBA seems to present their stuff to existing fans; I have the impression that they are not so good at generating excitement in people who are not already customers.

3) I think MBA stuff looks better in person than on their website.
3a) This might seem a little livelier:

The only issue that I have with MBA castle stuff is that it is made for miniature wargaming, not for use with RPGs. So grid squares are not provided.

@jchunick - Since you are going to Gen Con you will probably get a chance to see MBA stuff in person. I recommend it. Their stuff is largely more historical than fantasy, but they do have some very cool fantasy pieces. These guys make really nice stuff. I own very little, but I do recommend them. Dwarvenite is more durable, but their resin stuff is very detailed. The only problems for me are the prices. They get a bit rich for my blood on several products.

DF is my favorite maker of 3D terrain, but MBA does rank up there.

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

In dutch they say "The bird that sings early in the morning gets eaten by a cat!" - just one more reason i am proud of my heritage ;)
