To be honest, I'm getting a little concerned, this was a large amount of $. However, I'm trying to be patient and give the benefit of the doubt as I can't imagine the challenges of a sick child. Hopefully we'll hear something soon as I'm not sure Paypal will be of much help here anyhow.

Hey guys,

jgardner44 has always been (in my experience) responsible, serious and reliable. He has been posting here for many years and I don't think it was part of an elaborate master plan to scam you. If he still does not answer in the 3 weeks, I will give you his civic address so that you can contact him by mail.

I do wish you guys luck and am sure he will contact you. If however you don't get a response by some odd chance you only have 60 days from payment to contact Paypal. I've unfortunately have had to do this 2-3 times when buying items off of Craigslist. I'm sure however he will contact you though.

Not to be that guy, but those with the inclination and access might see about adding "the Gardner family of Twin Falls, Idaho, whose baby is dealing with medical issues" to their religious organizations' prayer lists (or equivalent).

I wonder if he has a fund set up in their child's name? I would certainly give some money. I couldn't get in on purchasing some items I wanted, but I certainly always have a few bucks to spare for any child's welfare.

Earlier in the thread he gave his paypal information just for that purpose. I completely understand his predicament and am not angry or seething or anything like that I'm sure hes's just caught up in a bunch of life situations. It's just a little hard not to hear something for so long but I really do hope things are getting better for them. I know how I would feel if something like that was happening to one of my nephews

I am supposed to be meeting him this Saturday, but I also have not heard from him in about a week. I'm hoping everything is ok.
