380 Euros! That is about $800US! I cannot believe the price.

Willypold, have you taken a look at Wargods of the Ægypticus since you like Egypt so much?

380 EUR should come out in the vicinity of 485-500 USD... Still a lot of money, though...

The Wargods look quite interesting! Have you played it? The miniatures look really good, but is it a good _game_? How many minis do you need for a warband?

Sorry, thought the Euro had been gaining againsy $US like the GBP rather than losing. The Egyptian temple from Manor House would be $534.77US; just looked up the exchange rate. Still, that much money for one clottin' building!?! That would be feasible only for someone who constantly played historicals or fictionals in that setting ALL of the time.

Still the Manor House stuff, which does look very good, makes Armorcast seem frightfully inexpensive. That IS a SCARY thought!

Have not personally tried War Gods, but I have heard good to totally bubbly things from those who have. I do not have the funds to divert in that direction even though my elder son is trying to get us going in that direction. I am trying to acquire other items right now including more MM.

I've been getting a little bit bored by GW right now, and is quite willing to look at other stuff - which is one reason I've gotten into the D&D and Star Wars minis.

I will definitely look into the Wargods range - and hopefully there is someone selling their stuff in Sweden! Will look around as soon as I'm home from work...

So are we Agreed? The Most Cost Effective Egyption Terrain, (Aside from those that have the Work Shop to Turn their own Wooded Dowles), are Second Hand Lego's!

Hey I HAVE used Lego's in Games before...!...<Chuckle>...

Just got my order of Wargods of Ægyptus stuff today! :D

For starters I got the rulebook and a _small_ selection of minis - the priest of Aten and the priestess of Osiris, and the fishmonger trio... Greatlooking minis and the rulebook has some things I like, primarily the concept of issuing orders and activating units one by one across the table, instead of each side activating all of his/her units at the same time.

Thanks for the tip! Next step is to convert my GW Tomb Kings to proper Ægyptians before ordering a full army!
