Re:Bones II - Sooner than you think 1 Year ago
My plans called for backing Bones II, DF KS 2, and MBA castles. So I am in wave 2 for a core set. I have been eagerly snatching up minis that are sub $2 US per piece at every opportunity as long as I could potentially use them. I unfortunately missed the first Bones run since it happened right before I got back into minis.

I think I can use most of what has been pictured so far, and it will give me trade fodder or auctionables if they add things I do not want or need. Now I have to figure out which "spoil the wife til she forgets how much I'm spending" plan I want to break out this weekend...

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

Say, LordDust...

If any of those plans actually work, would you consider sharing them with the rest of us here on the forums?

My girl actually encourages these types of purchases. Then she gets to use them too.

My girlfriend makes fun of me for how much I spend on Kickstarters, but she's also the one who paints minis, so she's at least somewhat excited for this one. And somewhat terrified....

These giants look pretty good imo:

Also, on tap (if you know where to look) Sylvan creatures and demon lords.

Please don't post on the KS thread. I'm not a big fan of derailing someone's planned efforts for spoilers:

Well jack, you may ask in jest, but here goes:

Last one that worked was her coming home from work before her day off to a hot bath with scented oils and candles, a chilled glass of wine, and relaxing music. While she was enjoying the bath I cooked pork rosa with Tuscan marinara over rotini. The only part of the food not from scratch were the noodles and wine...

I had also bought her a tiramisu to serve for desert (I can generally cook like a beast, but not so much the pastries or pastry-esque). Oh, and the laundry was caught up and put away so she had nothing to do that evening except relax. Once that was over with I think I could have told her that her car was on fire and she would have been almost okay with it.

I'll let you know if the new one works, cross your fingers for me!

More dungeon decor to compliment your DF tiles:

Kind of surprised this is a paid addon since there doesn't seem (to me) to be anything all that special for a 50k update.

They must be on to me.. can't find the future updates until right before they release now... :)

those stalactites will be great in the Cavern sets! I'll be sure to show them in our upcoming cavern set kickstarter...a little cross promo:)

But the stalactites don't ship until next year! Surely you're not suggesting delaying the caverns KS :)
