I have two sets for sale at 210 each including shipping anywhere in

feedback on ebay if anyone is curious.

Re:Reaper Bones Vampire Level 1 Year, 1 Month ago
Hey there!
Yesterday I finally got my Bones Vampire Level with a few extras. I opened the box and, how do I put it diplomatically, simply am not satisfied with the miniature material quality.
In my humble opinion, the material is too D&D prepainted like (which I have tons of but don't use them anymore) and lacks details. I am seriously considering selling them again, but my wife forbade it...for now. She wants to have a go trying to paint one or five and then let me decide again.
Depending on the quality after painting, I will post the pictures here and for how much or IF I will sell at all.
Don't get me wrong, I still think it was a great deal, I simply decided for myself that it'd prefer to pay a little more and get plastic or metal miniatures. For example I got my delivery from the Oathsworn Dwarves Kickstarter and those were a really good deal and some excellent miniatures.

Please if there are some out there already working on painted Bones please let me see the results. I saw a painted Bone giant already but unfortunately the photo is not detailed enough to see any details.

Sorry for my rantings.

Oh, and this in no way dampens my feelings towards Reaper. Au contraire, I own and will still buy a lot of their metal miniature range.
It simply made me see the by far superior quality of their metal miniatures towards their Bones.

Dwarf, sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the Reaper Bones.
My Bones Box is at the customs office right now and I'm waiting for the letter with the official customs notice to be able to pick it up. I will share my experience with them and how much I like them (or maybe not like them) as soon as I get my hands on them. I hope that will happen sometime next week.

My take is different.
I am of the mind that these are GREAT for gaming use. The addition of my collection is unwarranted. In other words, for what I've paid I'd never expect to get even 1/10th the quality and amount of miniatures. True, I haven't actually 'reforged' any yet but I expect (from reports) that I will be more than satisfied with the results. You may have seen my purple worm on these forums (a bones I bought separately) and I'll include my Beholder (Eye Beast) on this post but the detail is GOOD compared to a lot of plastic minis I've seen! Granted, I've not painted a lot but from what I've seen most of the details is hidden the the white. YMMV?

I'm happy with my Bones delivery! I still haven't had time to paint any of them up yet, but will begin working on them in the next few weeks hopefully!

You guys are right. For nearly everyone these miniatures are a good deal. Alas, I am in a different situation. I work for Games Workshop for about 15 years and without (hopefully) sounding too arrogant, they make the best plastic miniatures on the market.
And since I get them at a discount, these Bones turn out to be a rather bland deal. But as I mentioned before, either me or my wife will have to paint one or 5 before really deciding what to do. I believe I will still get a good price on ebay if I decide to give them away.
