Re:Grand Double Door Entrance 1 Year, 3 Months ago
Ok so i went back and fixed the gap between the doors and the arch and ive attached it to the side walls with "mortar" i.e. more sculpey. Im realizing i need to get a better medium after being re-baked a few times my svulpey is showing some cracks at some of the seems but those will be fixed i wonder what other medium would be good for a project like this any suggestions?

The more you do the better you will get. When done, I would make molds and cast them in resin.

Smooth-On 300 or 305 are products I've had good luck with. 300 sets very fast, usually less than 3 minutes. 305 gives me around 6 minutes pot life and believe me that extra few minutes can come in handy. Both dry bright white and can be de-molded in 30 minutes or less. They must be primed with an oil based paint. Use two light coats and allow at least 30 minutes between coats. The Smooth-On website has lots of good information.
