I'm backing them, was from near the beginning, but starting to feel I may back out. I have a bit of kickstarter problem, and am trying to cut back. I don't think I'd end up playing it a lot, and given that the minis are over-scaled they won't be as useful just to mix in with everything else....

The traps will work with df they are 1"x1" scale so will look nice.

What about thickness? Are they as thick (tall) as a DF tile? Or would there be a drop where ever I placed one of their traps?

It looks like there is a tile that it can adhere to, to increase thickness. also the walls.

I am debating leaving regular tiles out until my crew either trips the trap or they pop out and the walls start to move. then I will replace the DF tile with the trap or place the trap on top of the DF tile.

I'm excited. even the clear resin fire traps and the acid pits can be laid on most tiles that you want the trap to spring from

and the best part is even with the $10 pledge you get the free friend backer referal trap. and they said YES you can choose the $20 pack of sawblades (1 saw tile, 2 saw tile, 3 saw tile, and a wall of saws) as your free trap. That is freaking cool.

It should be simple enough to put something under the trap tile to make up the difference, if necessary.

My concern is that you'd need four 1" traps to occupy the same space as a standard 2"x2" DF floor tile (or two if you have an ABS half-floor tile).

They are designed to work seamlessly with the Modular Darkmyre Dungeon set... which looks like it will not be funded this time around.

She said there would be an update tonight about tiles sizes. Not all of them are just 1x1.

in an answer to my question earlier, she mentioned that there were 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, and 2x4.

The update tonight is suppose to tell you the dimensions of each of the traps.

perhaps that would help?
