Hey folks, I will be joining you on your adventure this year. Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to finalizing a character and get up a backstory. Can anybody provide me with some resources on the campaign (such as setting history) and possibly a quick review of what occured (story wise) in the last game, and possibly what the path of our upcoming adventure will be?

Or is the backstory on the first few posts of this thread? I'll dig through it soon... I'd like to make a backstory that fits as well as possible.

Thanks much and I cant wait til November =D

Welcome aboard Fizzikx! As far as I know, this thread is the only resource for the game from last year (other Forge members please correct me if I'm wrong on that). Looking forward to meeting up with the Fellowship once again for more adventures!

All - Unfortunately I will be unable to attend this year.

I am looking to sell my seat at the game for $265 without any merchandise.

The game is scheduled for Saturday November 8, 2014.

Contact me at groovyedwin at hotmail dot com if you would like to take advantage and game with the Fellowship of the Forge.

Best,

The Year of the Dragon,
The Season of Seeding,
The Cycle of Rebirth,
Barterday, the 27th.

Mia Taerven,
It has been weeks since our delve into the catacombs below The Golden Coin. Although I have tried to keep the Fellowship together, it has broken. Pekka and Shadox have taken up together to travel the country-side, and our Master Gnome has faded into this metropolis that is Valoria. From time to time I have happened upon the talent of the fair Aria, our talented Bard, who seems very comfortable amongst these Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve. I have not fared as well. Fortunately, there seems to always been a need for one skilled in the healing arts so I have not wanted for food or shelter. However, I cannot seem to grasp the nuances of this society. There is always a pick-pocket nearby trying to take what little I have. Goods and Services are always twice their fair asking price which you must haggle down. Of course I deny no one who is in need of healing as the Great Crescent demands which has garnered me a few loyal acquaintances. Even the pick-pockets have started to leave me alone.
Zaltar has been nowhere to be found since he abandoned us in the catacombs. If I may humbly ask: What did he do for you that would require your response of service? Yesterday, I received an invitation to a "feast" for our "acts of bravery" in destroying the book I wrote to you about earlier. I'm not sure what to make of it. It came with a coin of which I have been careful about both as you have taught me. I have asked our Great Crescent to reveal any evil or magicked enchantments upon them, to remove any curses from them, as well as to remove any magic from them lest they enslave me to a geas or quest. The coin has darkened a bit which has caused my no less alarm. I have inquired about our host, Madame Morgain, but so far she seems benign as much as a mystery. Being the suspicious, paranoid Fier'Dal you made me, I can't help but wonder if this "feast" being held the day before the Day of Ritual Sacrifice is more than just a coincidence. I also wonder if Zaltar hasn't in some way put Madame Morgain up to hosting this feast for us to exact his revenge upon us for destroying the book instead of recovering it for him. I'm not sure how Madame Morgain came to know our deeds, though I suspect Aria has regaled more than one audience with the tale.
I am planning to attend regardless, but I have taken as much precaution as I can to prepare myself lest it be a trap. I hope to regroup at least with Dolgan Mar and El-Ran, as well as Aria at the event. With them, we should be able to overcome any surprises. However, if you do not hear from me in the coming weeks, I'm afraid my preparations will not have been sufficient.
Ever you faithful student,
-Galdor

After some questioning around town and parting of coin Galdor Finds that Madame Morgaine is without a doubt the owner and proprietor of the Red Dragon Inn

The Red dragon inn is a refined bar where old money gathers to smoke their pipes and do quiet deals away from prying eyes. Only the most elite are invited and even then there is a waiting list. The king himself has his own royal gallery there kept in readiness. There were also stories of secret tunnels some leading to the kings castle.

strangely the Fellowship of the Forge declined the invitation from Madame Morgain...they never arrived to the party....

Madame Morgain and the King himself are baffled and a little bit insulted by the affront...
