TOPIC: Make your own Gelatinous cubes

Re:Make your own Gelatinous cubes 2 Years, 3 Months ago
Thanks for the information. I use a modified hand brake-bleeder to create a vacuum in several sizes of glass jars, which is what I first started with all of those years ago, but the beaker you have pictured with the vacuum stopper was something I hadn't seen in awhile, so I went on an eBay search for one, but no luck. I'm the owner of What the...?! Miniatures, and we're branching out into resin casting, so I may have to invest in a vacuum chamber eventually.
Speaking of eBay, I've been watching your cubes at auction since April, so I may just get a set before you've sold the last of them.

Shadox, I'm always grateful when I receive a "YRTFW". Keep'em coming! Of course I hope I shall continue posting threads worthy of these praises.

Wolf 359, I'm glad I've been able to inspire the owner of a business involved in the "miniature market". If you are into doing large-scale resin casts, then you have to invest in some degasing devices, although I wouldn't know which one to recommend. Also, the last few gelatinous cubes I'm selling are not the best looking ones I produced unfortunately. Finally, I have in mind the possible project of casting some more Gelatinous cubes (more on that later) since the sale of those I first made was so successful. I am therefore relieved to see on your web site that you do not seem to be much into fantasy minis and more into present-time warfare minis.

Thanks for the kind words, Biowizard. Much appreciated. While it's true that I bought the business established with Weird WWII figures, I am currently working with a sculptor in England to produce a line of mushroom men, and some pulp/Cthulhu figures I intend to use in a dungeon crawl environment so I can utilize all of this wonderful Dwarven Forge stuff....!!!!

I loved reading your post of how you made your gelatinous cubes!

Now we need someone to come up with a method to make us some decent slimes ;). I haven't really found any that I like out there yet!

Wolf, did you have any luck with those mushroom men, I would like to see pictures ;)
