Oh man, I remember the 80s and early 90s all too well. On top of the D&D stigma, I was also one of less than 10 metalheads in a Junior High school of about 1,000. Very character-building (as in personal character, not D&D characters lol), but not fun. There were kids in that school that honestly thought I was a Satanist because I was into metal & D&D. And that was when I actually enjoyed going to church!

I remember getting a hold of a book called "Satanism- the Seduction of America's Youth" by some nutjob and there was tons of made-up junk about rock/metal and even some stuff about D&D that was just hilarious. AND OMFG- its still in print!!!

And its available for the kindle too!

Forget "hot witch chicks in my D&D Game" what about any chicks! Just kidding, my wife and daughter play. I too thought it was a joke, until the end.

Oh, God, you reminded me, I found one of these once, in a module I bought back when I was a kid!

Must have been 1985 or so, and I bought a D&D mod at Waldenbooks in South Florida, and I found this little comic inserted, looked JUST like that one. Same "high production values," as it were. And I don't even remember if it mentioned D&D, but I remember it talked about how this kid was going to hell because he looked at a woman and had "impure thoughts." So, basically, this thing told a 12 year-old boy that if you look at a woman and have impure thoughts, you go to hell.

It's just total luck I didn't end up a serial killer. Thanks, lunatic extremist group!

I've played D&D since 1977, and I'm a confirmed serial killer. Honey Nut Cheerios, Frosted Mini-Wheats and Trader Joe's Maple Pecan Clusters, yum!

Oh, wait, that's cereal killer...
