Plastic "resin" casting 3 Years ago
There is a guy on EBay Tooskerdo that has done a lot of research into the most durable resin. Has anyone bought his stuff? He has items that aren't available on DF. The items are all mainly accessories items.

Most of it is Hirst Arts stuff. I was tempted to buy the big keg but
I havent pulled the trigger yet. I'd rather buy resin than a plaster
version and his prices seem fair so I'll probably get something eventually.

I bought some stuff a while back. It is decent quality, enough so that I just did another order the other day for small pillars, orc table, and some others. It is all resin cast from Hirst molds. He was nice and threw in some bonus unpainted bits as well with my first order. Very cool but more stuff to add to my paint list!

I've been keeping an eye on his "stuff" for awhile but I'm thinking of pulling the trigger for this:

@Arcarius This is the guy I'm talking about the DnDgamer lists the Ebay auction before. I got some free examples of his stuff in the mail. It is detailed but I don't like the weight of it. His painted accessory items seem to have the best detail of anything on Ebay. What he has for sale is different than what DF has. Here is a link to his items:

What do you think of plastic resin?

I forgot to mention that I'm especially looking at the Tooskerdo's Orc's table and the dungeon fountain. They both look impressive as well as the ancient rues.

I will let you know re the orc's table and other items when they show up, they have been shipped. The plastic resin is good, far better than plaster, etc. I have some plaster type items that have already chipped or broke.

@Harneloot Thanks for the feedback.

@Arcarius I look forward to your feedback. If I get another good recommendation than I think I will "jump in." I already like the detail on the unpainted samples but I don't like the lighter weight. Weight makes a difference to me for some reason. I "geek out" over writing pens and watches. I like the heavier watches and pens.
