Not as detailed as the ones shown, but easy to use, durable and marked in 1" squares!

  • * Buy the product (usually around $8 - $13)
    * Print onto cardstock
    * Cut out shapes along designated lines
    * Fold pieces
    * Glue pieces together
    * "Edge" white fold lines. Edging is using a magic marker to color the white portions of the reveal cardstock that occurs when you fold the pieces.

  • Some cardstock products require mounting onto foamboard (most people use this).

    It honestly depends.
    For support walls, Cardstock (which is higher "weight" paper is used, like 70-110lb weight paper, instead of the to "copy" paper which is 20lb weight.

    But for the Maiden, you could use the "copy" paper for the decks, and some things, and the card stock for the walls. but yeah Thraug goes through the way it is built.

    I get this one for free (used)
    unfortunately I have a lot of parts missing..so I will have to spent some time, to build new masts, and I want to repaint all.

    here some pictures with D&D miniatures,

    as toys is very well made, it's easy open the ship, and there are a lot of buttons that produce sounds or that mechanically move something.

    the only problem with this model, is with the stern castle that if you see it's a bit to high for 25-28mm scale..I want to cover a bit, the big entrance with green stuff, or putting something in front of it, in order to create just a 28mm door, and create the effect that the stern castle have 2 floors inside or similar.
    (I don't know if with my english you can understand what I mean)

    Hey Swanton, no one here has directed you to Fat Dragon Games.
    They have a Cog that you might be able to use for a modest pirate ship.
