hey gang,
seen the vatican......queue wasn't too bad.......not great, but not hours long as stated by some. and there was some special planned for the night.

sight seeing been a bit of a bust since the hotel we were booked in is a good 45 min away from rome central, meaning I can't dodge off from meetings for sight seeing between meetings.

what i have seen is fantastic and makes me wish I had more time. tossed a coin into the trevi fountain, so hopefuly, it mean's I'll be back. More importantly, since my wife didn't get to come this time, I'm sure I'll be back or else :P

Haven't had a chance to try any of your suggestions yet Stefan, although I hope to at least make the tartufo. the reps from the company we are dealing with have been more than generous with food though. Been to some nice places for dinner and they don't skimp on the tab either :)

gala dinner tonight at the Castillo Odescalchi di bracciano and then hopefully a day of sight seeing tomorrow. i say hopefully as my body clck hasn't adjusted to local time and I'm waking up about 3-4am in a panic as my body still believes it's morning inAustralia. (thats about 2-3 hous of sleep for the last three nights)

you're a luck man to get two months here stefan :)
