Hello,

I am building a new table with Dwarven Forge specifically in mind. Keep up with my blog if interested. I will post a final picture when I am done.

Well I started the work on it and added a photo album to the blog site to show the work in progress.

Looking like I might want to do four to six layers of varnish on the base level. The stained Oak is looking sharp though.

Might get it finished before my kid is due Thursday. I skipped classes today. :O( :O)

Sean;

You HOPE you get it finished before thenorthman, Mk II, (or the northwoman, mk I) arrives.
Because I guarantee you WILL NOT finish it any time soon after that!
Between Mrs. thenorthman saying "My feet hurt, my back hurts, can you get that diaper for me, honey warm that bottle!", etc., etc., etc., and trying to catch a nap between walking the floor burping mk II or mk I so Mrs. northman can get some sleep, YOU will have no TIME for simple pleasures like furniture construction! Not for the rest of THIS year.
And don't think nursing instead of bottle-feeding will give you a break either; that only is a small part of baby-care.
Kids are wonderful, make no mistake; I wish I could have kept mine, instead of his mother getting him. But doing the job PROPERLY is a LOT of work.

Any backup from any of you guys out there on this?

Shadox?

Kradlo?

Bueller?

Anyway, congrats on either Mk II or Mk I, whichever you have incoming (and I hope for your and Mrs. thenorthman's sake, it isn't one of each!).

Well Limited Edition Miniature was born (released) April 3rd at 2006. 8lbs 11 ozs 21 1/2 inches long.

My table is closer to being done as well but not quite. Plus it has changed a little from my original plan.

Can photo's only be submitted in the PHOTO section? I will try?
