Hello All,

Well last year, as some of you know I was poised to be there but due to moving across country I could not make it. It was so hard driving passed the convention in Indy with the moving van and not stopping. This year I am planning on being there. Kradlo will you be running a DF friendly game? If so I want in!!! I would like to play a elven Shadow Druid (I will email you my template) or halfling Rogue. What say you? Can I Join?I am also trying to get a conf room for one night at a nearby marriot or courtyard. Worse comes to worse I will rent a suite and run the game out of my room if required. Let me know.

Shad,

I'll have to see if I can attend this year. I certainly want to do so, but I've had a lot on my plate. I have full time school, full time work, and tutoring, and I've bills that have arisen as a result of my pituitary tumor.

If I can make it, for conventions I usually run a game with pre-gen characters, to ensure the party has what they need to succeed. The last GenCon run had characters like a catfolk scout (super fast and mobile), a Dwarf warblade, a Dwarf fighter/rogue in full plate armor (couldn't hide for beans, but could open locks, deactivate traps, trip with a guisarme, and sneak attack), and a Radiant Servant of Pelor (hell on wheels against undead). So, the pre-gens were anything but mundane or humdrum.

If I'm running an informal game, I make it open to almost any race/class combo. My current campaign has an aasimar paladin of freedom (the CG variant from UA), Dwarf fighter, human monk, and Ibixian goatfolk barbarian (I'm using one of my old Mordheim beastmen for the mini, which fits the PC to a "T"). I've had a halfling ninja/swordsage in the group, so generally the sky's the limit.

If I make the decision to run a game at GenCon, I'll post it on the forum ASAP. I had a blast running my game last year, and would love to do it again. Hanging out with Stefan at the Dwarven Forge booth rocked!

Kradlo,

Your games sound like they rock!!! As for teh races let me be clear. My elven shadow druid was a cross between a child of the night from teh alternative magic book WOTC printed and an existing druid. Sort of like a mystic thueruge (Spelling?) kind of template but bastardized child of the night. Anyway it sounds like you come up with even more unique classes/races combos. I would love something like that exotic. Well if you can make it that would be great. If not maybe I run a game? not sure. Catch you guys later...
