Hi - I recently came across this web site by accident and couldn't remember if anyone else has mentioned it before. I was really blown away!

It is all sold unpainted so I don't see it as a direct DF 'competitor.' (so hope no one minds me making this post)

I was thinking I might order a mat or two and paint it up DF style to put Cavern stuff on. It will provide a 3rd dimension of gaming to take place underground (the spaces 'between' and around the exteriors of the DF pieces).

The add on pieces would also be good in particularly large cavern set ups.

What do you guys think?

I'd seen a couple of their pieces on eBay, I think. The flexible mats look incredible, and would be perfect for the Broken Lands in my campaign. I think I'm going to have to get some of their stuff.

Thanks for the tip!

Oh, and the link is www.zuzzy.com

I saw this on TMP the other day, i could have sworn it was Fuzzy, not Zuzzy.. :)

Looks interesting, but mainly RPG, and mainly D&D so the lack of grid makes it annoying to use for my purposes.

Yes, and....lol

Hey Stefan - I wouldn't let the presence of these other products (no matter how well done - and they look nice) to disuade you from realizing your visions. I have to say your track record of excellence - and of unparalled achievement in this area speaks for itself - no one does it better. I may purchase and use these and other products but I will certainly buy and use DF products first and foremost - as they are the best (they look the best and they work the best). So, yeah - if you've got ideas go for it. I love both the utility and artistry of your pieces and would like nothing better then for you to expand your line (like to outside and/or terrain accesory stuff)...in the meantime my vote goes for more cavern stuff (waterfalls and multi-level pieces perhaps) eh?

in my game we just use a ruler for outdoors, has worked just fine so far.

i like the mats, but wish they were square instead of rectangular.

Personally, I like the 4' x 6' size, but if you want it 4' square, it would short work with an X-acto knife to make it so.

You could even cut it into 2' squares for modular terrain, though being flexible I don't think it's as necessary as with styrofoam terrain.

Another company that does awesome terrain is Manor House. If I had the funds, I'd pick up some of their outdoor terrain.
