Stefan,

I noticed that the DF tables and chairs are sculpted by S.L. Garrity, who I presume is Sandra Garrity? How was it that you met her, or became buisiness associates? She is my favorite artist for Reaper minis. Sorry if that is a stupid question, or if it has been talked about in an earlier post. She is a fantastic artist. Thanx.

Yep, that's the inimitable Sandra Garrity. I've met the lady at GenCon, and she's a peach! She's very personable, friendly, and incredibly talented.

She has also done some of the Traps, as well as the treasures and magical items, and of course the Orcs and Skeletons and Lizardmen... I was a fan of hers long before I started the business and so, when I was at Gen Con and happened to find her sculpting there I immeadiately asked her if she was available for hire. She is a wonderful and charming lady, and was very helpful and kind to this young upstart in a business world I knew little about,. in my opinion she is one of the most gifted miniature sculptors in the world (fantasy or not)
We will continue to work with her as long as she is gracious enough to give us her services. I have more Lizard men waiting to be born and who knows, perhaps a tavern patron or two?

PS
we have also had a very good working relationship with Reaper Miniatures as well. They do very fine metal castings and have done many masters for us from Sandra's "greens"

I mostly collect fantasy terrain / minis ect... But I just bought alot of WOTC SW minis on Ebay. I got alot of the Rebel Storm minis(cuz I am old school) all of the commons for about $6, and I just wanted to say to all the fantasy collectors here, that alot of the SW minis can be used with fantasy settings. For example, Bib Fortuna, he could totally fit in a fantasy world, and vice versa. I noticed that in many of GS's Scifi setups, he uses WOTC fantasy minis. I love DF and plasti-crack: scifi and fantasy. As in the movie "Braveheart": "We must unite the clans!"

Yeah there is a lot of cross over between the two groups becuase they are the same scale and maker that they look good together, and can be pretty easy to customize. Plus with some aliens not represnted i use the closest critter from D&D ;)

I was actually talking to a few online friends who i know play the Skirmish and RPG, and they are all saying that they wouldn't mind a few more RPG freindly "commoner. merchant, noble" minis but the biggest problem we had was WotC tried it with the Sage, and Commoner, but oddly also the Village Priest.

And the sage and the commoner got caned for being useless and and so common. But i don't remember hearing the complaints on the Village Priest. Becasue it was Uncommon, and usefull in the Skirmish and RPG. that's the way they need to introduce these things into the WotC line of pre-painted.
