Thank you so much everyone! (blushing)

and thank you once again Jeff for showing my maps at Gen Con. It was a great honor, like a dream for me...it's a shame the City map that was the central piece of the room was stolen of the wall...somewhere out there is a very happy rogue apparently...

if i thought there was interest, it would be great fun to make a book of maps and/or cities in my spare time....yes, the names could be withheld so GM's could use them. I would do building interiors too...compatible with a certain company that produces certain tiles of course;)

perhaps on my impending trip to Rome and Venice I'll think on it...

Thank you so much everyone. Of course, If I knew others would be seeing them, I'd strive to make them better.

Not to make light of the theft of your work, but you reminded me of a rule I was informed of in dealing with artists.

"Never let an artist see his own work -- he'll take it back to the studio so he can 'finish' it."

Apparently, no artist is ever satisfied. They just learn to let go and move on.

This is to calmly state a counter point.
Anyway otherworld, in the most polite way I can say it, you are unfortunately incorrect in your varied, but limited experience.
My family says you are leaning, at best, far, too far, to the radical Irish side of your roots in your postings.

Stefan, this was about the simple perception of accents until otherworld took it elsewhere, after Jim very innocently mentioned his perceptions about the "Brit" accent he heard during the vid you were in.
otherworld decided to take exception to this and began, in a fashion how he accuses me of doing, to take Jim to task over the issue.
otherworld took it to where it was about being called a Brit (which is a citizen of the UK) and I took it to how the Celtic Fringe, say that being British is not insulting or as insulting as being called English, which, sorry otherworld, does include the people of the Vale of York and its environs, at least from a Scots and Welsh point-of-view.

Stefan, I have family in Scotland that were polled recently about independence from England.
They all said "Yes!" because nearly every bad thing that has happened to the family members that stayed in Scotland and the reason for many emigrating to the Dominion of Canada or to the United States of America has come from English.
Meanwhile, several family members give proud service in the British armed forces while others serve just as hard in British governmental service.
Just never accuse them of being in the English army or government; those are fighting words!
Seriously, if you want to insult someone without effort in Scotland, just call them an "Englishman" (no Und, Bold or Itl this time for peace's sake).
That is worse than calling them just about anything else in the "book".

Granted, the Welsh branch of my family, other than three of my cousins, will just look at you like you have completely lost every marble in your head and grew ass's ears calling them that.
Those three cousins though would want to take you out to Aunt Gwynned's presub and beat some sense into you, but they are the exceptions to the norm.
We will not go into at all, what this branch of the family or the other has to say about some other parts of otherworld's declared lineage.

Meanwhile otherworld, I have over 1,000 family members with whom I actively correspond with and/or regularly visit with in 14 locales in Wales and Scotland ranging from the "big" city to the most rural area.
I had several family members e-Mail me back on what you said (I forwarded it to many of them) and they asked what else would I expect from a "rather uncomplementry label of a person of particular ethnic roots", but the usual, long-time Scots label of such a person which the moderator has said I cannot use on these forums.
Anyway, I was warned by family members to expect trouble from the that sort of person and those of the same inclination.
I guess I am reading it in spades.

Sorry to ruffle the innocent bystanding Americans' feathers here.
Those "difficulties" between the English (and all that entails) and the rest of the inhabitants of the Isles have been going on for a good while as one of my Scots Great Aunties puts it and will probably continue until the end of time due to long Celtic memories and English pride.

Anyway Stefan, I have not seen the vids.
From the sound of your own postings and others', I would not be seeing you at your best, so I guess I will not.
The picture I have of you in my own head has come from the always enjoyable encounters we had at cons back in the late '90s, like Gen-Con '97, so I will leave my picture of you uninfluenced by vids from before.
I hope though that everyone in the vid was having fun despite the visitors and your hangover.

Well that was fantastic. A little quirky here and there but that's the gaming world too, no?

You got a lot of face time, Stefan. That's pretty cool. Was it weird to see yourself on film like that once the project was edited down?

Does Jesse Spiro have this out on DVD? I'd be interested to see the whole thing from start to finish in one piece.

Sorry I'm late getting back; Sunday was a bear, and Monday was part 1 of a five-day road trip from Hell!

Apologies to ALL for my unintended agitation about accents. I will not say anything further; let's all agree to LIGHTEN UP.

I never did get to go back and watch the rest of the video; will it EVER be released to DVD, or VHS, or ANYWHERE? I'd like to see it all in one swell foop! (WHOOSH! That was a swell fooping by!)

And if I EVER get to actually attend GenCon Indy, I DO want to see those maps! In fact, being the collector I am (as opposed to gamer, apparently!), I WANT TO BUY A COPY OF STEFAN'S MAPS BOOK!!!

See ya!

That was hilarious!!!!

The scariest part was when he called himself an artist (yes, I said pretty much the same thing on the documentary) I feel so much shame:(

And yes, me and my friends are even geekier than the guys who do the spoofs since, we actually take our game seriously sometimes...

oh well...

I would love to see Stefan's map book. An electronic product would be terrific.
