I have two campaign logs going on. One is about the Seven Spires campaign which ran from 2004 to 2006, and the other is about the Praemal Tales, the Ptolus campaign me and my friends are just starting.

On these logs, there are maps showing some DF elements, as well as pictures, miniatures, aside of the events of the game and campaign talk, of course.

I thought you might be interested:

Just updated the Praemal Tales with the fourth session of our Ptolus game. If you're searching for more pictures of DF set-ups, 2D set-ups et cetera, or you just love D&D and campaign logs, I think you'll enjoy having a look.

The Praemal Tales have been updated with the character's development and some (controversial, maybe) thoughts about leveling-up characters in D&D.

As always, feel free to comment to your heart's content !

Odhanan,

No one has been posting here on this, but I wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU for sharing your adventures with me (us). I'm sure I'm not the only one that reads your work. Your writing is VERY good and from a DM/GM perspective, you seem to be very good at presenting a story that would keep your players interested for the "long haul". I have personally spent hours and hours getting "lost" in your write-ups and character journals over the last (year???)...man, very cool stuff here as I have borrowed a few ideas from your works tracking back to The Seven Spires.

I guess I just wanted you to know that your work was being read and appreciated!

I'm looking foward to taking time out this evening to enjoy your latest Praemal Tales session. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot for the praise, Ghostmage!

It's true that if I wished for just one thing by posting these summaries of our games, that would be to inspire other DMs and get them to steal stuff from the blogs for their own games! That's the greatest compliment one DM can make to another, I think. So thank you, again... it touches me deeply.

I haven't updated the Seven Spires in a while, but I have the write-ups on my computer. I'll update you here when I post them. As for the Praemal Tales, we're playing today, and hopefully, we'll be introducing new people to the game as well! So there'll be an update pretty soon!

I'm blessed to have players who are interested in the game. I'll relay your comments to them, if you don't mind! :)

Odhanan,

I also read up on your tales regularly and find them to always be exceptional!

I actually refrained from posting any previous comments in an attempt to avoid losing the purpose of this thread in a sea of well-deserved accolades.

That being said, I truly agree with Ghostmage's well-deserved comments.

What I am trying to say is please continue posting as I would hazard a guess that we may not the only ones to enjoy these, by a long shot.

And even if we were, they're just too good to miss!!!

Thanks again.

Steve.

I must precise I couldn't do it on my own. I've got my players to thank, first and foremost, and I got to thank Monte and Sue Cook for the greatest gaming goodness ever put between two covers... the Ptolus book itself. Really. That's the best RPG book I've ever seen, and if you know my mileage (which is comparable I guess to many OD&D old timers on these very boards), you know that's saying a lot.

Thank you both for the compliments! That's really great to read such feedback. I'm humbled by your enthusiasm. You guys rock!

Now, I'll have to write about Session 10! The session where... someone gets killed! Stay tuned! ;)
