Does anyone know of any good websites where I can order some nice trees to go with my MBS layouts?

They had some nice ones in the GenCon pictures -- those would do nicely. I'm having trouble finding nice ones that have good size. I am also looking for some creepy dead ones for graveyard set-up.

If anyone has any good recommendations, it would be much appreciated!

~Cheers

Your best bet is probably Woodland Scenics -- they make bags of plastic tree trunks/branches of tons of varieties of tree. You get a good value, you can get a large quantity of trees for a small price. (You can also select size -- if you want really big trees, you'll get a smaller amount of trees, while if you want smaller trees, you get a ton of trees -- they're all in a range of sizes, so if you want 3" trees, you get ones ranging from 2 3/4" to 3 1/2" or so, etc)

You can flock them with whatever you want -- WS also makes flock in green and autumnal colors. Leave it out, and you've got great dead trees.

I can't think of a better product -- you get tons of variety, good value, well-executed trees. Most hobby places either carry them or can order them. I think if you check www.walthers.com for Woodland Scenics you should be able to find pics (and order them), or just google them.

AND, if you're doing multi-level setups like Mike IO and I do with the risers, you can take a bare tree armature, paint it a combination of funky brown and dead grey, stick some half-set hot glue on the base of it, and stick it upside-down to the riser under your graveyard trees and have ROOTS for the Underdark part of your game!

Cool, huh?

See ya!

Second the Woodland Scenics idea.

They are the only trees I use other than palm or alien ones I make myself.
Great instructions on trees and other vegetation are here:

My trees order came in from LEMAX and they are pretty INCREDIBLE! I went with the 6'' and 9" Fall maples and oaks and I'm really pleased. They go nicely with the MBS (wish I had that digital camera)... if anyone is interested -- here's the web-site from above.

Thanks again DaggerdaleDM!!

I use K&M Trees trees. They're a bit 'stylised', but they look nice and are very robust.

Glad I could help. I have bought trees from several sources and am always on the lookout for these kinds of things. The LEMAX trees are just great and since they come in a clam shell that snaps back together you can store them dust free on a shelf or just hang the package on a nail. I wish we could order direct because supplies of the kinds you want really ebb and flow. But, the sites I listed are pretty good. Let me know if you ever get any of the flowering magnolias. The pictures I have seen of those are quite impressive.
