Cool thanks otherworld, i remember seeing those, but there was another set as well, anybody got any ideas. These look good, but i want a few more options just so every kid in the village isn't a clone....

The singles of Peter and Katie are a good start too, but that's still just 5 kids.

I am interested as well. I've been searching for minis of children for quite a while! Thanks to Ghengis Ska for bringing this up. :D

One thing i was thinking of was using was O scale Model railroad figures, they would work for some of the bigger kids, but the dress might be the wrong and while i can find a number of children figures in HO (even packs of them), almost nothing in O scale (the HO would be Really small, an adult in HO is head shorter than a mini).

GS -

So? Use HO adults and modify them!
Or, maybe not; better find some S-Scale kids, instead.
Google "S-Helper Service" to see what they carry.
Remember, 25-28mm figures are "S" scale, 1/64th, roughly. "O" Scale figures are 1/48th or 1/43rd scale, MUCH too big.

See ya!

The Problem with S Scale, while it is the closest to 25/28mm figures, is the same problem as O scale except more so. Not as many figures in general out there, and the few of them that exsist aren't typically children.

I have looked at S for a long time as sources for generic type figures, and i have even seen a number of sites selling smaller O as S scaled figures. From the searches of a number of sites it seems that HO seems to have the most figures, then N, then O, then S (for the figures i have looked at, not sure where G falls in there, becuase they are Sooooo out of scale). And out of those Figures, Children are the least represented in any line.

HO has bunchs of figures, and a decent number of them are kiddies, but i have only seen about 4 sets in O that have a child or two in a set... can't remember the name of the producer, I think it is Lifelike or Model Power, it's not Woodlans Scenics, while they have scads of HO, they have little in the way of O, and nothing S. The reason O seems promising is while they are a bit Bigger, if they aren't based the don't look that bad next to a based Mini.
