Hey guys (and girls),
I hear alot of people talking about other sources for mini gear. I'm new to using mini's and wouldlike to know the other websites out there other then DF. I love the DF and will buy it for as long as it is around but I would like to shop around and see what else is out there. Can anyone help me out with some websites?

What are you interested in?

Pure Miniatures?
Scenery items (tables, chairs, bookcases, barrels etc)?
Terrain (ie the stuff like DF that all of it goes on)?
Materials (Resin, card stock, plaster/cement)?
Build it yourself or predone?
Pre-painted?
RPG slanted or War game slanted?
System?

There are litterly loads and loads of things out there narrowing the field might help in the begining...

I'm mostly looking for Scenery and Terrain. Im not really that picky if its painted or not because I paint myself. Most of what I use my DF for D&D so it would have to be able to be used with 25mm minis. Sry I left everything so open ended I hope this helps.

If you're just knocking around the internet, go to Google Images and do searches for "gaming terrain", "gaming scenery", and other variations such as "game" and "wargame" -- that usually picks up some pictures of terrain and scenery products and will lead you to the manufacturers' sites.

Take a look over in this thread,
Medieval Furniture & Accessories
www.dwarvenforge.com/dwarvenforums/viewtopic.php?id=1388

That might get you set for some of the scenery elements at least for a start lists the 4 companies that are the major source of what most of the DF users use as scenery elements (besides DF).

Another one (slightly off scale, but close enough for most uses) is MageKnight (artifacts and traps)

Ebay can be a good source at times as well. Though obviously things come and go.

Also, try looking at local stores that sell model railroading scenary. Some of the stuff fits pretty well (trees, bushes, fences) if you get it in a fairly close scale (S scale is best, but not very common)
