He found it yesterday in my stuff. It was actually mine. It is a female half-orc fighter with a huge battle axe. Ok, now my wife tells me it is a female dwarf. No way! She is at least 6' tall!

So Everyone, We Have Established that brvheart Definately Might have what Could turn out to be a Female Dwarven Half-orc... Ummm... That Looks Like a Klingon...<Chuckle>... Ral Partha was really awsome for "Sane" Scale and Functional Detail... Everyone carries on about how you have to have 30mm or 1:50th Scale Figs to Get Good Detail, but that just is not True, and I Felt Like Ral Partha Made Figs that were not only reasonably Scaled but Proportionate as well, which might be more important...

Don't listen to my wife, she swore a halfling was a dwarf. Then again, the PC she uses it for is a "wanna be dwarf" halfling.

Ah... Halfling Barbarians... I Played a Halfling Thief/Assasin Years ago, Who Helped Kill a Frost Giant For a Group of "Northern" Barbarians... So I Had a "Horned" Helm made From Some of the Giants Teeth, and was made an "Honorary" Member of the Tribe... I Used a Small-ish Dwarven Fig for a Couple of Years after that...

Waaay back in Gygax days, I saved for weeks to buy a module for my group. It was The Hall of the Fire Giant King - 2 levels with an entry into the world of the Drow. MEan module with giants, ettins and all sorts.
This was going to be a mega campaign and my 4.50 pounds (around $1950 by today's conversion - lol) was going to last us for weeks!
35 minutes later the whole of the top level had been demolished by a 10th level thief with a blowpipe and poison darts. The fighters and mage were simply filing their nails while that 3 foot b&^$%#d raped my dungeon!
He did eventually run out of darts, but the damage was done. We finished it in one evening. (This may have also said something about my skills as a DM too - I s'pose)

On another note, my favorite thief trick was to have 2 human thieves with rings of invisibility walk down a corridor with a 10' pole between them. The Orcs or whatever would come round the corner and our boys would brace themselves. As the orcs charged and hit the pole.... SPLAT! It was like shooting fish in a barrel. We even convinced the DM that this was not an agressive act and therefore the characters remained invisible.

AAAH - Happy days!

Chandler,

Perfect...<Grin>... Boy Thieves are "the" Under rated Class at times, I Like Throwing Darts too... Nice Rate of Fire, Light and Even a Mid-level Thief can do some Damage with them...<Chuckle>... Was that One Of the "G" Series Modules? I Had One of them, The Hill Giant Module I Think... It Got a lot of Use in the Mid 80's... For a While it was the Only Mod I Had, so I Used it in Various Forms a lot...
