Good for you! :D

Can't wait to get the other stuff! I have a plan for the large 4x6 floors in combination with the water section, the bridge and the columns. The next large project is to build a house (raised one level) containing the entrance to the dungeon - the entrance itself being the WA stairs. Construction method will be the same as the houses I'm making for other gaming purposes - heavy cardstock core (2 mm), with scale wood or embossed brick paper covering both the outside and the inside.

The choice of green for the water was suggested by the sort of greenish highlights and the green pools on the cave pieces themselves. The water in the Mermaid fountain is blue, right?

Willypold,

You're welcome... And Yes the Mermaid Fountain has a Sort of Blue-gray paint scheme, (Or at least Mine Does), It really is a Beautiful Piece, but it is Not Real Shiny, and does not have the "Clear" Resin "Water" Effects of, and the Whole thing is 2D compared with, the Well or the Cavern Floors... That Having Been Said it IS still a Great Piece, and definately worth Investing in. (There is a Certain, Charm or Charisma, or presence or Something about the Piece, that is very Compelling... Same with the Demon Arch from the other AW, just not as "Pretty")... All of this Of Course in my Less than Humble Opinion...<Grin>...

I will probably get the WA sets on Friday, as that seems to be the regular delivery day. I think I have explored most of the possibilities with just a single Cavern set by now, which is why I was so anxious to start making my own sections - that way there will always be fresh approaches! :D

My most immediate plan is to get the WA sets, the Cavernous Passages and at least one set of Rooms and Passages. Seeing the mermaid and demon pieces really sold me on getting the WA sets as the next addition to the collection, when then Cavernous Passages probably would have been a more natural choice as the next set.

And somewhere in between stockpiling DF sets I really should get down to learning the D&D Minis rules...

Willypold,

As Much as Law has Sung the Praises of the Cavernous Passages, You'd think I'd have Ordered them by Now... But Given the Choice I still would have Gotten WA first just because there are som many Useful and of course "Pretty" pieces in these sets... The Passages will hopefully come soon however...<Grin>...

The will... They will... :D

In the meantime, could you do me a favour? I need to know the exact height of a regular wall section in millimeters.

I am just about ready to start cutting into my first sheet of cardboard for that house I mentioned, but as a part of the ground floor is going to rest on top of a wall section, I need to know how tall I should make the basement. I only have the cavern pieces to measure against and they are of varying height, and therefore useless for that purpose...

Good Question I Had Never Measured The Heaight Before and was Surprised to Find that the Walls are NOT the 2" I have always thought, but rather are pretty much an Exact 5cm... Go Figure... I Measured several to be sure and this seems consistant...
