Matching Master Maze paint & old bow tie fill in 5 Months ago
I've been thinking about filling in the bow tie gaps on some old Master Maze sets, and what has stopped me was the thought of matching the Master Maze paint scheme. I dug through the forum and found a few old threads that should help.

A quick summary of the threads:
The base color is dark grey with a touch of ochre/yellow-brown.
The base drybrush seems to be a mix of grey and ochre/yellow-brown. More ochre than grey.
Finally, a drybrush of light grey-yellow.

Suggested Citadel/GW or Vallejo or Reaper paints:
(Please add your suggestions for these ranges)
Stefan mixed GW Graveyard Earth and GW Bad Moon Yellow with Grey (mixing black and white). (Graveyard Earth is now called Steel Legion Drab, in Vallejo its Earth, Reaper Uniform Brown.) Bad Moon Yellow is now Dorn Yellow, Vallejo Bad Moon Yellow, Reaper Clear Yellow.

Dwarf based in black. Then drybrushed with 2-3:1 GW Tau Light Ochre (Vallejo Filthy Brown, Reaper Tanned Leather) and GW Mechanicus Standard Grey (Vallejo Russian Uniform, Reaper Military Green, or just mix black and white). His second drybrush was ochre with a bit of GW Ulthuan Grey (Vallejo Ghost Grey, Reaper Ghost White, just light grey).
He did a third light drybrush of GW Underhive Ash (Vallejo Filthy Brown mixed with Bad Moon Yellow?)

HeroQuestFrance used black base. First drybrush with grey and GW Bestial Brown (now called Mournfang Brown, Vallejo Beasty Brown, Reaper Intense Brown). Then GW Desert Yellow on an individual stone or two (now called Tallarn Sand, Vallejo Desert Yellow, Reaper Faded Khaki). Then drybrush of GW Bleached Bone (now called Ushabti Bone, Vallejo Bonewhite, Reaper Yellow Bone).

They sell half bow tie sets if you are inclined to consider that as an option. Personally, I don't care about the gaps. They don't bother me. Heck, I might even get out the bow ties some day and use them again!
