How do I make a Round Room 1 Year, 1 Month ago
I've been trying to make a really large circular room, but I can't figure out a way to do it?

It can't be done. It just can't!

OR CAN IT !?!?!?

You need 16 Diagonal Walls.

Okay, it's not actually round, but it should get the point across.

Possibly you could try three curved hallways to make the walls along with one or two curved wall pieces on each side of the door? Of course you will have to block off the open ends of the hallway pieces. Perhaps with pieces from Advanced Builder (or is it ABS 2?).

There is nothing in either Advanced Builder Set that will help make a round room.

The inside wall of the Curved Passage piece is the same as a Curved Wall piece. In order to use the outside wall of the Curved Passage piece, you would have to cut it up.

Four Curved Wall pieces can be used with Straight Wall pieces and doors to make a round(ish) room six squares across.

Some of us hope to someday inspire, convince, bribe, or hypnotize Stefan to make a 4x4 Large Curved Wall piece for MasterMaze.

(Stefan... You are getting sleepy. Sleeeepyyyy... But not until after the GameTiles are all shipped!)

Wolverine: Well, it certainly is a big, round room.

Yeah, I spent twenty minutes trying to figure out how to describe that in text before I gave up and opened one of my old diagram files. I actually spent less time on the picture than I did failing to find a way to convey it with words.

I am hoping that someday soon (by which I mean "in 2014") there will be more Diagonal Walls on the MasterMaze Individual Pieces page. I got the last ones from the previous restock, but I still need more.

The real trick with that room, though, is finding enough floor tiles! It needs 101 2x2 floor tiles, or 20 2x2 floor tiles and 9 6x6 floor tiles!

You've inspired me to add that this has the making of a coliseum...add a few huge pillars, floor grates (opened and closed), some lions, and you have a full fledged free for all for PC's to earn extra money pleasing the crowd. Or, getting information from a defeated enemy pleading for his life about the underground catacombs below the coliseum and through a long forgotten secret passage!

jackattack,
Thanks again buddy! I got plenty of 2x2 tiles and the GM who is running our Pathfinder Mythic game in my game room appreciates you answering his question too!

Buy a bucket from Home Depot, along with some paint. Cut the bucket so it's only two inches high. Paint grey, then paint in a grid.
