No, but I am tempted to with as many dice that end up on the floor and the time wasted trying to find them!

I roll my dice in the Dwarven Forge. I like the sound it makes :!:

4 of the rounded cavernous corners make a great little box for rolling in too. My GM doesn't seem to mind at all, but it's not like I'm tossing dice down hallways and knocking over furniture, treasure chests, torch stands and painted minis or anything. Besides if it bothered him he'd tell me, and I doubt very much I could hurl a little plastic dice hard enough to chip the stuff. Well not without looking absolutely ridiculous in the process.

Ya' know when we play SW Minis I usually roll in an empty space created for the terrain.

I have rolled in the terrain though.

It's not like a floating Hulk wouldn't be pock marked from blasters, right?

I mostly worry about how to transport the stuff.

Is everybody dragging it around in the DF boxes in styrofoam? It keeps the pieces safe, but is so bulky.

My terrain stays at home, so I don't really have the transport problem. Just players who are over-enthusiastic with the dice.

Yep. That's when I get out my bat and start swinging for the cheap seats.

I Finally Stopped using the Lid to My 'Munckin' Game And Made a Rolling Box out of a Trisket Box... Lined With Extra Cardboard from a another Box, and Some Kewl Material From a Fabric Store... Works Great!

As Far as Transporting DF, I Replied Previously to a Specific Post on the Subject...

Cigar boxes are the way to go.
place dice in box close lid and shake away your fears and frustration.
=no missing the box and no needed die rolling designated area on table.

good wood cigar boxes work nice but even cheap ones will work(just not as nice looking)

Remember rolling etiquete;

Shake, shake, pass......
