TOPIC: Torch walls

Torch walls 2 Years, 9 Months ago
I just purchased a couple of torch walls from one of the out of print DF sets. It looks to be in great condition except the torches do not stay in the wall setting. Is that normal? I was thinking of just using some blue tack.

I also have bought after market torch walls. When I got mine, the wire had been bent down. You might have to bend them back up. The upper portion should come out at about a 90 Degree angle from the wall. That way the torch goes through the upper 'wire hole' and then rests in the wall 'dent'. The torch should then be at a 45 degree angle to the wall.

I could see how it slips our of the lower 'dent', but it should stay in the upper wire bracket. I have not used mine often but I guess you could bend the wire bracket even closer to vertical so that the torch is almost vertical and just hangs in the upper bracket?

From your description it seems I am missing the upperwire bracket on both. THere is just a little bowl shape that is too large for the torches.
