TOPIC: TileSystem Data Updated

I figure I will start a topic solely for tilesystem data updates. I have the full version of CRasterImage's fine program, TileSystem with drawing and photo sets here: www.colinburns.com/games/mastermaze/index.html

So, I will announce that the drawing sets have been updated. They now should have everything but the RoTA2 entrance piece and the DoE Hellscape, which I will get to shortly. This update is now being marked as version 1, and includes the just updated this week ABS2 and RoTA2 drawings.

Enjoy.

I had to change a couple of .set names to get them to load (one was the mastermaze all tiles and the other was the realm of the ancients one.

Looks sweet, though.

What was the change? I did not have to do this on mine. Thx.

I just got two messages, one saying it couldn't load (I think; renamed them so doesn't happen now) MasterMaze_Drawings.set and one saying it couldn't load MasterMazeRealmOfTheAncients.set

But I could be wrong about the names.

Great Work PFWorks and thanks for putting in the time to make this update! You deserve a Gold Key! :D

Quick question for ya: I have the previous version of tile system and had changed the "count=###" field to reflect an accurate count of all the pieces I have. If I update with the newest release of the software will it reset the field to "count=999"?

What are my options?

Thanks again!

Yes, it will reset them to 999 (or whatever I put in there). I don't have a good answer for maintaining count, other than creating your own xml files and adding the new pieces in.

Do you know if there would be a file conflict if I replaced the NEW file sets with a copy of the OLD file sets?

If you just straight out replaced them, you wouldn't get any of the new tiles that I just added.

Fortunately, I didn't install the new version. Instead I looked at the image files contained in the zip file and saw how much different they are from the previous version(s).

It seems that all of the ROTA images are sketches instead of pictures...or am I missing something?

This latest version is NOT backwards compatible, is it?

I maintain the images done in Illustrator, and someone else does the photos. I personally use the illustrator images because they print out nice and clear and I can easily tell which pieces are which when I bring the printouts to the con. If and when the photos become available, I will fold them in the package.

The illustrator images have been there since day 1.

Thank you pfworks, CRasterImage, and I believe an L-someone ("LoneStarr"?) was the person that was maintaining the photos, wasn't he?

Thank you all

62 sets and counting. In addition, a boatload of individual pieces or sets of pieces.

OK, I've done the Hellscape set and added the Ruined Entrance and uploaded it.
