I too took the plunge with my gaming group. Just to make sure we're into gaming with DF like this, I started off with 2 of the basic room and passage sets. If we like that, we'll group buy 1 set of Wicked Additions 1 & 2, an Advanced Builder (probably the 2.. since 1 isn't in stock :/ ) and a room set. Any thoughts on that? So we'd have

2 Room and Passage
1 Room
1 Wicked Additions 1
1 Wicked Additions 2
1 Advanced Builder

Should that be a decent setup for most dungeons that don't involve caves?

Definitely. The only possible issues I see are:

1. Not knowing exactly what is in the Advanced Builder 2 yet, you may need the ABS 1 to make full use of it.....?

2. Without the ABS 1 you are going to be short on straight corridor pieces.

Maybe go a second WA 2 instead of the Advanced Builder 2 for the extra 6" walls?

Yes, I'm already at a quandry...

I've unboxed 2 of my sets, and they are awesome. I've laid out some design, and definitely see the need for the 3rd set of DoE. The fourth set was perhaps a bit ambitious on my part, but we shall see.

With that being said, I really see the need for the 6" long corridors (please make some), and floor tiles.

So, saving pennies now for the restock so I can order 2 of the DoE Wicket Editions and 2 DoE room sets :)

HEY! Don't go biting the hand that feeds me! I gotta make a living off Access databases. Be nice to me, or I can't buy any more DF.
