Not sure where to put this so I put it here. My wife and I purchased a fairly big Curio Cabinet this weekend to store and display some of our Dwarven Forge. By adding 2 extra shelves I can get about 10 sets in it plus her Halfling House and another house made form Hirst Arts stuff. I really haven't had a chance yet to see how well this is going to work, but at least I can have the basic stuff at arms reach rather than having to get the boxes out every time. No room for Cavernous stuff though. They are too heavy for the glass shelves to put enough on to make it worth it.

Kewl... I Have Often Wondered about the Glass Shelf aspect of Curio Cabinets... The Big Plus is Usually Having Glass Doors, (Less Dust), and Lighted Display... Send us a Pic Man...

I will as soon as I get a chance to clear the area up a bit. We are painting my study at the moment so the gaming area in the breakfast room is a mess.

Medium sized 27" wide by 12" deep. We didn't have room for a really big one.

You Know I Often Wonder If there Is a Perfect" Display Case Design for Stuff as Small as DF Pieces... I Mean How does one Balance the Conveinence of An open Shelving System Close to the "GMs Throne" And Still Have it Trully Hold Sufficient Quantity of Product so as to be Economical Space wise... Maybe I Need Robots to Fetch my Oieces For Me...?<Smirk>...

It does hold about 10+ sets. So we figure it is worth it. It has allowed me the ability to throw up a single room with little effort. Something I would not have done prior. What do we need robots for? We have gamers to step and fetchit for us! Or at least I do ;)

My players have bought quite a bit of my Dwarven Forge. Close to $300 worth now and I do occasionally get them to paint our minis.

Some do some don't. About half bring something every week. Others I have had to start charging 50 cents a can.

I have bought all the DF sets we use. I only DM about 10% of the time. The guy who usually DMs rarely has to worry about buying anything other than books.[/code]
