Hey all,
I might have chanced upon a store in Australia that appears to have a stash of long forgotten DF stuff still in stock. Unsure of the exact stock levels, but a pal has indicated that they may have some stuff and suggested I check it out

THere is the hint that there may also be some out of production items in their stash. Since I am ordering mainly online now a days for my stuff, I am probably more interested in the OOP stuff, specially since my friend has indicated the stuff still ain't cheap.

So, my question to the esteemed elders of the group here concerns OOP items. What has DF produced in the past that you consider a worth while addition to a collection? Being relatively new to the forum and group, I am only familiar with the newer sets/items.

Your suggestions are much appreciated.

I agree, definitely the narrow passages are the best thing that is OOP (in fact, it may be the only thing that is OOP that I know of, and it is very useful).

I agree, definitely the narrow passages are the best thing that is OOP (in fact, it may be the only thing that is OOP that I know of, and it is very useful).
The 25 Diagonal Walls set was pretty awesome. I am so glad I picked up the two remaining at Nobleknight! :)

I like everything said above, plus Ogre's Den...sometimes, its just nice to have a ready made cottage!

How about Short Passages as well? (not something I own)

Grab every Narrow Passages set he has! Don't go for homicide, but anything LESS than bodily mayhem, TAKE the chance!
You will find that the Narrow Passages set, while it was not projected as a BIG seller, has grown beyond it's original usefulness. I seriously suspect Jeff and Stefan are going to bring it back, eventually, because people are SCREAMING for it!! However, by the time they DO get it back in production, it WILL cost more than originally. SO, if you can get any at or below original MSRP, grab 'em! I have two from original sales, and wish I had more - but I'm just too darn cheap to buy them off eBay, WHEN they're available there.
Deluxe Room is good, also see if you can find 15 short passages; they are actually a better bargain than lots of Room and Passage sets, because they can link R&P together better.
Just don't do anything 'jail-time-able' for any of these goodies, because as good as DF IS, it ain't worth hard-time.
But anything LESS than jail...
