Wanted to pick water because I've had fun games with rivers and boats.

Who likes mountain games? Like a survival thing? or Exploring? :?:

odd that in a Dwarven Forge (Master Maze) forum, nobody's said "dungeon" yet....

Anyhoo, I think "mountain" could just mean wilderness mountains. I mean, half of the Lord of the Rings takes place in the mountains (other than a short jaunt on the river, a few excursions into dungeons, and some time in the hills)

Oh yeah. Dungeons.

From a lazy GM's point of view, dungeons simplify things immensely by limiting the players' options on where to go and what to do. This isn't railroading, it's just the plain consequence of the structure of the things. :D

In citys the Grubbers (PCs) all run off in diferent directions.

Dungeons are a lot easier and give "focus" to their bizzare wanderings.

A good city romp is a lotta fun but a lotta work......

I Guess I Should Have Included "Extra-dimensional" as well, but did not think of it till later...

I Like them All really, There are Deffinate "Survival" Elements to be Found in Each type of Environment, and Roleplay can be Found anywhere...

Yes Cities are a Bit of Work, and if The Party Splits up a Lot you Gotta' Punish'em... Funny How every Time the Barbarian Goes out alone He Ends up in the Pokey... Or Is That Pesky Lil' Thief Stuck in a Hole Again?

I Particularly Like Mountains Too, Good Place for Pilgramage Story Lines. (you know, for those Palladins that are Seeking Atonement for Wearing Fall Fashions in the Spring or Something?)
