Has anyone seen the following set in the "flesh"?
Does anyone here even read Cyrilic, let alone read Russian?
I know the set is part of their 35mm SF game called BRONEPEKHOTA or Armored Troopers in English.

RabidFox, yup, both L and I have them, they are not Bad, all in all i like the Hex better than the Platform. Hex seems to go together much better and can take a Real beating, i droped the Platform moving it and it just flew apart, all of the bits everywere, while when assembled it is ok sturdy, the Hex is much better for staying together.

MY FLGS sells them now, and you can get them from the WarStore online(where i got my first set). They are a PAIN in the Butt to get off the sprue, come unpainted and kind of Dull silver gray, but for the price aren't bad.

Any specific questions...?

also look around in the pics forum i know L posted some pictures once with the sets in use with some of the Sci0fi terrain.

I added the emphasis above.

GS, the question is not if you have seen Platformer or Hexagon sets; I know those - I have those - I use those!

The question was, "Have you seen this black box set with the stairs?!?"
I have not found one in English yet.
All I have been able to find is the Russian one on the Net in the Russian Fed.
I DO NOT want to pay for that shipping bill!

So, with that said, has anyone seen this set in the States or the UK?

RabidFox,

This is a Pretty Kewl Template for a Level, And I Can Really See this as a Potentially Good example of Options For Changing the Scale of DF, For Instance with this Set up I could see WH 40K or the WK Mech-warrior Stuff being used in a Take/Defend the Base Scenario... Nice Job, and I'd Like to See Pics of this Put together...

Have to wait pending BRAC 2005 and my wife for the pics.

I have not found a simple way to get the stairs from Russia so I think I will be turning to Ebbles paper minis to get some stairs.
We will have to wait and see.
Sorry.

Ebbles Paper Minis'...Hmm... Can not Say that I Have Heard of these, Are they Card Stock Printable Stuff? (I Thought You Did Not Like Card Stock Stuff), or is that just the Name of a Company?

You are right, I do not like cardstock terrain, but when that is all that is available for a certain item, that is what I have to deal with.
Now, I do do a bit more with a lot of that stuff.
It gets printed on 110# or heavier at least.
I reinforce in a variety of ways so that it can stand up to minis and mistakes/accidents.
I just work with it the best I can, but it is still inferior to resin, plastic or metal.
That's just life sometimes, eh?

Rabid Fox,

Yup... We all do the Best we Can With what We have Available to Us... Good thing Gamers are Extra Adaptable Examples of the Species...

I Did a Search For Ebbles, Came Up With Who I Guess is the Designer, Mel Ebbles, but No Direct Web Site...

I Would Like to Mention However, That While Waiting for Kewl DF Sci-Fi Add ons, there are some Useful 3D Terrain Items Available From RPGNow.Com In Particular Check this Out

www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=4108&

Mostly I Think That the Computers and Other props would Be Useful, but The Floors Could be Nice to Use For Filling Space Inbetween Exterior DF Walls, Especially Since the Sci-Fi Stuff lends itself Soo Well to "Stepping" (Because of the Great Generic Edges)... I Don't Know... I have Not Purchased this myself But I Have Looked at it a Few Times...

Anyway, Let Me Know If You have a More Direct Link to See what Ebbles Gear Looks Like?

"Mel Ebbles" is what he goes by on his page and at on-line terrain forums, but his real name is Christopher Roe.
I never asked for an explanation so do not ask.

You are right the stuff looks pretty good.
I have already started to make the furnishings from the copy of WorldWorks Games' First Light program to use in my Sci-Fi MM.
I bought the CD and snail mail option instead of downloading it.
I like that option for just about anything that RPGNow sells.

Genghis Ska is also a WorldWorks Games' (WWG) First Light veteran.
He has even posted pics on WWG's WEB page forum.
He could give supply a link to those pics.

WWG is coming out with an additional expansion in the next month or so called First Light: Retrofit that will have more cool furnishings pieces to put into our MasterMaze.

Anyway, Let Me Know If You have a More Direct Link to See what Ebbles Gear Looks Like?

Here is the link you need to Ebbles:

www.ebblesminiatures.com/store/index.php

To get the really cool items for use in MM, you have to buy one of their equivalents of MM.
It is worth it at $14 because the furnishing kit, Ambient Elements Collection II, has some really useful pieces in it including fresher components.
You can always have the attitude is that $14 is for the Ambient Elements Collection II instead of the other thing.

Thanks For the Link... Have You Built any of this Stuff Yet? (Did I Miss that in another Post?)

I See what you Mean about the Ambient Collection... I Can Also See some of those "Objective" Rooms Being Useful as Small Buildings in a Street or Station Layout... Interesting...

I have printed up a good deal of stuff stuff (I have about an inch and a half of printed items to work on), but all I have built so far from the Ebbles items are the consoles from the Tactical Objectives: Information Systems, which I must say, look pretty good in Sci-Fi Master Maze.
Before Ebbles, I had already bought WorldWorks Games' First Light (WWG) for their SF furnishings in it and made a fair number.
Those SF furnishings also look great in Sci-Fi Master Maze.
I combine the consoles with chairs from WWG's First Light to make decent seated positions.
I have already messaged Ebbles that the Tactical Objectives: Information Systems needs chairs added to it.

As far as those Tactical Objectives: you saw and liked, I started with the Tactical Objectives: Information Systems because it was the easiest item that could contribute to my Sci-Fi Master Maze.
After looking closely, I have found items in every Ebbles set, even the Maginot Line Fortress set, that could be used with Sci-Fi Master Maze.
So now, I am slowly collecting each of the sets for use in Sci-Fi Master Maze, except now that all has to be put on hold to send funds ArmorCast's way before they shut up their TerraForms shop.

Rabid Fox,

Interesting, I Have Wondered Just how Difficult Sci-Fi Paper Accessories Might be to Put together, (And The Time Involved)... I Have Assembled a Few Paper Fantasy Items here and there and the Difference From One Design to Another Can Be Dramatic...

Anyway, I'll Be Curious To See Some Pics of that Stuff in the DF Setting When You Have Completed Them...
