"Scottish dish made from a sheep's or calf's heart, liver, and lungs, minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach for several hours."

This is Haggis with a double *d* though...

Hmmm, not sure if I would really want a bowl of THAT.....was Hagis the name of the giant dude in Harry Potter?

Hagis also stands for:
HAGIS Hackers Against Geeks In Snowsuits.

Not sure I'd like any of that either...

I know you will all curse me for this, but I'm kinda hoping for the usual DF delay.

Take back your heresies!!! Do not jinx us!!!

Seriously though, congrats on the wedding! Save your change now, or simply put DF on your wedding registry!

Thanks very much- I'll probably save a bit of my bonus for my next order, delay or no. Depending upon whats in the set, I may not feel the need to go for 3 so I hope the limited piece is sold on its own at some point.

As for our hint of "Hagis," I can't even venture a guess. Can anyone think of something Scottish that has to do with a fantasy dungeon setting? Dang...now I'm nostalgic for my short trip to Scotland a few years back. Haggis with neeps and tatties and a pint of Belhaven Best- yum!

Haggis > Scottland > Glamis Castle > Tower or Room of Skulls

Haggis is a scottish dish which leads us to Scottland.
Scottland is famous for many things amoung them Glamis Castle (featured on the back of the ten pound note).

The most famous legend connected with the castle is that of the Monster of Glamis, a hideously deformed child born to the family. In the story, the monster was kept in the castle all his life and his suite of rooms bricked up after his death. An alternative version of the legend is that to every generation of the family a vampire child is born and is walled up in that room. The legend of the monster may have been inspired by the true story of the Ogilvies. Somewhere in the sixteen-foot thick walls is the famous room of skulls, where the Ogilvie family, who sought protection from their enemies the Lindsays, were walled up to die of starvation.

or

A Castle fit for a Queen - By the time Mary Queen of Scots and her entourage visited Glamis in 1562, the East Wing was dominated by the main Tower, which had been added in about 1435. The Castle was enclosed within a fortified court.
Glamis today looks more like a French Chateau than a medieval fortress, because it was extensively restored in the 17th and 18th centuries. The original tower house remains at the centre of the castle today.

Just a guess

Not bad at all, Zz. That's a pretty good argument for a tower set, IMHO.

I am almost afraid to ask, but what are neeps & tatties?

Neeps are mashed turnips- they taste quite a bit like sweet potatoes. Tatties are mashed potatoes. Both go wonderfully with some haggis, which tastes a lot like a good hearty stew with lots of oats in it. When you think about the ingredients, its pretty gross but when its on a plate, presented nicely it is tasty indeed. Wash it down with a fine Scottish pint of bitters (a true ale) and you are on your way to heaven.

Ah...neeps & tatties are much better than I thought they might be given the ingredients of the Haggis!

I'm part Scottish, so I guess I should try Haggis some day....

Haggis, and now Highlander? Another hint for a tower? At least that is the only thing I can think of that would make sense as a DF Dungeon espansion set.
