Just realized that the burrows with their current paint scheme actually seem to work pretty well (in theory) for a forest path as well. Just put a bunch of trees on the sides, maybe some woodland set pieces... a shrubbery...

I am so glad I grabbed 2 full sets of the burrows now. That and the fact that the gray is going to be the same as KS1 makes me happy. I still have around 10 sets I have not painted so this will let me match them to blend into the KS 5 stuff better.

Burrows look amazing and the decision for the puzzle floor makes sense.
Ledges were first on the PM for us about 3 sets of each, they will be soooo useful.

No burrows for me, either. I must admit, though, the paint scheme on the burrows looks fantastic! Those who went with DoD or Burrows add-ons should be very happy, indeed.
I am very glad that they decided to make the puzzle floor tiles reversible (as their original thought was), and to include a bunch of extra blank tiles is just icing on the cake (besides, as flat featureless pieces of plastic they can't cost that much to produce).
Ledges, ledges, ledges. I'll probably be one of the first to buy them (unpainted) when they become available on the online store. Hopefully there won't be such a mad rush that they sell out in the first 15 minutes.

A new dwarvenite color is nice, though I am not getting burrows. I still think alternate dwarvenite colors is a good area to explore. There have been a few, but runs of basic dungeons in different base colors could work depending on how much alternate colors cost to make.

Apparently Jade was more pricey. Dunno about clear.

Today's newest update seems to show the KS5 pieces in original dungeon grey. Definitely nice and dark. On a side note burrows will be cast in a new brown dwarvenite. As long as the stone dungeon pieces are original dungeon grey I'm happy though.

Excellent news! The light grey of KS4 needed priming to look right and still looked off next to Ks1-3
I painted most of my KS4 without priming and just used the natural grey as the base colour. Looks fine to me.

I'm pretty sure it was Jay who went to China, not Nate. The samples I saw were the dark gray of the early pieces but I'll double check with the team. It would make sense to have the dark, since it matches the KS1 pieces.

Unless I specifically state that my information is directly from Valoria, my comments are just my own opinions.
