Cant fault the video and did even think once to hit the Mute button :)

We are interested to compare your shoe polish technique to Army Painter Quickshade we have been trying recently.

Great Job Lady S :)
I did not have any trouble with the sound :D
I have used the shoe polish method with restorations.

I made this master from a antique cartridge paper egyptian rubbing for one of my old coworkers. I was concerned that latex rubber would destroy the original. I used a waterproof flat varnish to protect the paper and pourded the hydrocal into a plasticine frame. I used mold max over the master for a permanent mold so he could make as many as he needs.
I kept the master it is on the wall in the hall.

The finish is black shoe polish and talcum powder.

I have used the Army Painter Dip. I have and use the washes. I like the washes better.

I also use floor polish with Pokorny paints.

You can use matte medium if you want the wash to be flat.

Youtube adds auto-generated CC for English language videos, it's there and working reasonably well with a few hilarities. Great video and beautiful paint scheme! I will totally be taking this for some of my unpainted pieces. :D

Looks nice I bought way to many KS1 set and have not gotten around to painting all of them. I may give this a try on some to see how they look.

Thanks for the video. I've always liked sandstone and now I have an idea of how to make it work with Pokorny paint.

Sorry, I don't know how to add cc. Here's the video. I hope it isn't too hard to watch.
