Q: Vaulted Door Corner has a square 2"x2" footprint?
A: Yes

-----

Q: Classic Dungeon LED Curved Corner does NOT have a square 2"x2" footprint?
A: Yes

-----

Q: It has a curved floor void on the back of the wall, similar to the curved corner wall from KS1? No gap filling curved half-floors coming for that?

A: Yes there is a void on the back of the LED Curved Corner that can fit the KS1 curved half floors.

-----

Q: Will the Wall of Force be available outside of the Encounter?
A: Potentially.

-----

Q: Can we get a list of the capstone pieces before the end of the KS?

A: Yes that is fair. You haven’t seen many except the DoomStone, the Gorgon,. They are either a monster or a plot device for the encounter.

-----

Q: Will the secret door corner be available in other add on packs?
A: Quite possibly.

-----

Q: Ledges are double sided. Are both sides similar flagstone? is one side 'rougher' and the other side 'smoother' (like some of the mountain pieces)?

A: yes one is slightly rougher than the other side. Stefan is considering making even rougher.

-----

Q: The false floor lid looks like a KS1 floor tile, not a KS5 floor tile. Is this intentional? Will the final piece look like that, or is it just a mockup graphic?

A: that's just a mock-up. We should be receiving new prototypes soon and can show off the new ones.

-----

Q: the large curved half floors for behind the curved walls, would those fit nicely against the large tower?

A: unfortunately nope. Large towers are 6" diameter, Large Vaulted Walls are 8" diameter. Although if you're looking for. Negative space gap for a 1" moat around that tower, it would do that

Q: Can we buy a regular Dwarvenite (not G) version of the 8x8 Dungeon Floor for an extra cost?

A: We can note that our default preference for pieces is regular Dwarvenite, since it has a richer feel and can be cast with a bit deeper detail. We use the “G” when the factory urges us to do so, because the characteristics of the piece make it a much more suitable casting material. (That’s not to say that there aren’t borderline cases.) Large pieces have limitations without warping in regular Dwarvenite, especially when they have straight lines. Very thin pieces often do better in “G” since it is more rigid. Maybe no one is thinking this, but it is not about cost. There is not a significant cost difference between regular Dwarvenite and “G”, except that because “G is lighter it is a bit cheaper to ship. Q: Is there a way to tell magnetic Vaulted Walls from regular? They look the same in current photos but I thought there was a “less visible to players” way to distinguish them.

A: The bottoms will be painted with a distinctive red pattern to help you locate them

-----

Q: Are the vaulted walls any taller than the original DF dungeon pieces?

A: They have the same dimensions

-----

Q: These new pieces are amazing. Which ones are you most excited about? What was the most challenging to sculpt?

A: Thank you. We are very excited about the new pieces as well. I really like the 2x4 Grand Vaulted Wall for making any room important. And I love the large curved walls they make such beautiful lines.

A: The burrows were the most fun, and the tripod stilt was the most challenging -Nina

Q: Any discussion of whether there could be a vaulted corner pieces that could accept the door inserts of both sides?

A: That is a great idea but the current design might not support that with the size needed for the insert, but it is worth taking a look at to see if it would even be possible.

-----

Q: Are the doors for the double door archway and the trapdoor for the trapdoor floor piece, are they interchangeable with each other.

A: No the double door archway doors will not fit into the trapdoor. And the trapdoor will not fit into the double door archway.

-----

Q: The Plinth arch, how does it work?

A: There is a nich where you can put a treasure chest, a small mini as a statue. Other side is magnet so that you can attach any magnetic piece. It is free standing, but it also fit into the double door open arch. Also good for blocking off passageways.

Q: is the 'Stair Jack' piece essentially identical (even if a different sculpt) to the 'Small Stair' from KS1, or are the sizes different? Can the pieces be used interchangeably?

A: the stair jack is not the same piece, it has more steps. It can be used as a short steps (not as short as last year), or it can be inverted and used as a miniatures stand on the dais pieces.

Q: Does the Classic Dungeon Freestanding Magnetic Corner piece sit on top of a 2x2 tile? Effectively making it a regular corner piece? Or does it sit on the tabletop around the outside of the 2x2 piece?

A: they sit on top of the floor
