Ok, Oldent, I just have to ask...

Do you have a thing for trees with faces? I swear every picture I see you post of a tree has a face on it. (Even your avatar!) LOL

I hope I'm not being rude, I'm just really, REALLY curious!
I just printed out the 4 trees from the "Printable Scenery" kickstarter. 2 of 4 of them have faces - look like the Wizard of Oz grove of nasty apple trees.
I saw those in a friends Kings of War Army. Cool :!:

 No :!: not Rude. I am a big LOTR fan but it really goes back to the Trees in The Wizard of OZ and the fairy tails I used to play on my record player in the 1960s. I started collecting them in mass for a LOTR scenario involving a Hobbit Party gone wrong.

I post on a lot of Model railroad and craft groups. I use Oldmanwillow I like it better than the Tree Guy

PS. Don't have a table saw
Don't have a 3D printer

Resin looks better with out edge lines. This is the replacement for the cardboard Rune Wars pond.

The camera I took this with used floppy disk  I need to make a new Watchers pool.

I liked the old resin lake set. It is sad that it was difficult to mass produce.

The advantage of 3D printing is that I could design 4x4x water tiles with banks or curbing and included texture in the water. But what I really want is for DF to do it and buy it painted and perfectly matched by Stefan crew to the other city / castle / mountain tiles I already have.

One thing I did try were 4"x4" glass slides (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ES ... UTF8&psc=1), but they just did not look right.

I also have lots of game mats (similar to the DF KS5 Terrain Trays), but none of these truly capture the look of water.

PS. Don't have a table saw

As to 4x4 water tiles I am imagining canals, moats, streams, bulkheads, etc. designed to integrate with a townscape or mountainscape. They can indeed be modeled with negative space (indeed as can streets, alleys. Etc) or for very short runs be emulated with the cavern water tiles (but alas the size difference quickly creates cracks in the water). Anyway, that is what I hope for, but if it doesn't materialize I can print 3D ones at need.
Why not make water tiles on the table saw from MDF? Surly that would be more efficient than 3D prints.

I can not tell if you are serious or trolling :?

Good question.I do not know.I have a sample of the dragon lock.I did not like it enough to paint it.
