I'm VERY happy to say I was wrong about this project not reaching 1 million!

Not going to make another guess because I obviously don't have a good handle on this thing, but I will say the end result will obviously be nothing short of fantastic. And I still have to pledge! I'll be doing that after the weekend- I have a friend who may want a set, so I'm going to let him piggyback on my pledge so he can share in the freebies he otherwise wouldn't qualify for on his own.

Well I will jump on this one and go with the guess of 1.5 million. Dwarven Forge is quite well known and it thrown on kickstarter at better prices I imagine will be quite a bit of sales. So that's my guess :P

So if the amount the KS got today stays about the same or goes a little higher it should get very close to my guess there :D

This is freaking scary...at the rate the Kickstarter is going it's on target to fund @ $2.8Million!!! That's roughly less than $16K from what I predicted! Damn, I wish I could predict the winning Lotto Numbers as easily! :)

I completely agree; DF can bring more people to the game. And the more affordable, the more it will draw in.

I recently joined the ranks of DF addicts and was showing images of a dungeon I had constructed to a non-gamer friend; someone who has continually refused to join me for a D&D session, mind you. Unbelievably, after seeing the images, he said he'd like to give it a try. Amazing. These things are (+1) magic.

I am hopeful we will do well. I really want to see every gaming group in the world have access to great 3D dungeon terrain. I think it would do wonders for the popularity of RPGs if Game Tiles were used everywhere. Newcomers would be much more likely to be enthralled by D&D during their first session if the DM had a great DF 3D dungeon on the table.

I am much too close to this project to do any kind of prediction. What I will predict is that whomever takes part in the project, if we get funded, will be very happy with their Game Tiles.
