Yeah, I am still kicking myself for never picking up any Sci-Fi sets when they were plentiful and in stock in the DF store. I still remember the hubabaloo over the Gamma set when first released as people thought they looked too *Star Trekky* and I thought to myself I didn't really care as I would never be playing any sci-fi....D'OH!

Looks like there is demand for these sets.

The 1st one containing 2 starter sets, 1 Passage set, and one each of alpha, beta, and gamma sets sold for $714.

The 2nd one containing 2 starter sets, 1 Passage set, 2 alpha sets, and one each of beta, and gamma sets sold for $800.

I am not surprised with Starfinder doing so well. These sets looks like they will only increase with value as they become rarer over time.

I still would like to see a dwarvenite sets of sci-fi, maybe KS XIV. :D

Rare Sci-Fi Sets for Sale

Post by AnimeSensei » Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:12 pm

These aren't mine, but I thought I'd let those who are interested know.

Those of us that collect the Sci-Fi sets know how rare beta sets can be.

Someone is selling them as part of a collection on ebay right now. Just thought I'd give a heads up for those interested.
